Great tools for a great price

I've been using these pliers daily and they perform incredibly well, I have zero complaints. Much cheaper alternative compared to the tool trucks, no compromise in how they work and feel.

Very functional

This is a nice set of pliers. All jaws are well aligned. Jaw grip surfaces appear to be hardened although not sure how hard. Seems it was heat treated but not extremely hard which may be understandable if they want to keep jaws from being too brittle. Surfaces are well finished but may not be to the same level as some top German brand. Excellent hand grips. Also comes in a functional storage box, it is not too fancy but much better that keeping them in a pile in a tool draw. My reason for buying this set was to get hose pliers. The 3 sizes in the set are very useful. I have noted that rounded ends of the hose grips, although aligned, are not formed in precise circle. Almost looks like hand-bent into shape. This is more of a cosmetic flaw and should not affect the function as long as alignment and hardness are OK Overall very satisfied with the quality and the price

Work on cars? You need these!

These have become my go-to tools for pliers. The handles are comfortable, and their size and reach makes them useful in most situations. I am especially fond of the 45deg bent ones, I use them the most.

Great value for what you get, but...

As a professional mechanic, I need tool like this everyday, and I use this set once or twice a week as I have other plies that I use more often. This is a great set, come in a good case, grips are nice, they're not the soft rubber, but more of a harder material, easy to wipe off oil and grease, and the handles have been resisting brake cleaner spray pretty well. There's only one downside, as you see in the images, the rust is coming up on them. This is only 6 months of ownership in a closed toolbox, away from water. I will have to upgrade to a Snap-On or Matco set and keep these for home. Also, I will try to scotchbrite them clean and hope it works. I'm not sure if sunex will warranty rust.

The quality is a bit off

I use name brand pliers we’re I can, so I could tell right away something was off about these pliers. They are okay if you’re starting out, the fitment and tolerances when the jaws are closed are not good in my book. I regret buying this set.

Love the set but I chipped the cutters kinda quick

I love the set, needles and hose grippers are nice, nice tray as well, but the cutters got a chip in them after about 6 months with not a hole lot of usage and I’m not sure how to warranty them since I bought it on amazon

Side cutter no good

All the pliers work good, the side cuter is bad, cutting edge chipped. Sits in box and looks pretty. Thats it.
