Great light

Keep in mind it’s size and output power. It’s not a powerhouse light but it’s really, really good. Battery life is good, output is good, size is perfect. I have carried this light in my pocket, clipped on my belt, and clipped to my hat, oh, and even worn around my neck. I was a little skeptical of the clip but it has a great grip. I highly recommend this light if you are looking for a simple light that gets the job done.

Great flashlight. A couple flaws.

2 years later. Fantastic flashlight. I keep it with my electronics repair bag for working on computers. Just a couple issues I have is how hard it is to press the button. You can unscrew the rubber end cap bit for the button and add a bit of old credit card into there and that makes it much easier to press. Another issue is not having these rubber caps available (that I know of) on amazon. If you use this flashlight much more often then I do. I see this rubber cap wearing down and needing to be replaced. One tiny issue is I originally got the flashlight with the intent of using 3.7 10440 cells to power it. However this isn't really necessary. It could burn out the led faster and there aren't many cells available for a decent price. I just use my old Ni-Mh 1.2v batteries and they work just fine for what I use it for. Summery. Great little flashlight. There are others with higher lumen count. But they might not be as reliable. I like mine and its held up great over 2 years. I bought 2 at the time and the other still has the original battery holding a charge.

The EDC flashlight

I've put this flashlight through the ringer twice. It's been with me through floods (Never submerged though) and keeps going. Battery life is pretty good for a single triple A battery. It's decently bright for everyday tasks and the button is great. I bought another one for my bag, and I'll probably buy it's big brother just because I love it. Buy it, you won't regret it.

Compact

Using it to replace a Monarch 400 with my Leatherman Wave. It is smaller, and the button is a little hard to push. But if fits in my Leatherman pouch very well, and I love Streamlight flashlights! I’ve used them in firefighting and I know they are great quality. I expect this to hold up well.

Powerful little light

Not worth for the price

No matter it's a solid build streamlight but in this price range you can easily get more lumens with another brand

On/off button, compact, and bright.

Simple click on, click off torch that's very bright considering its small size. I can't stand torches with 5 modes so this is perfect. Conveniently runs on AAA batteries and puts out more like than you'd expect. The button can be used in a press and hold manner or toggled on/off. The clever 2-way clip design means it can be a head torch when paired with a baseball cap.

Great value for money

Fantastic pocket torch for the price. Battery life is decent and it’s bright enough for the majority of tasks. I have the Olight i3t which is a similar light but the Microstream is superior in my opinion. 45 lumens is plenty for a torch of this size. Only negative point is the button is a bit stiff but it’s not really an issue once you get used to it.
