Prepare for a little corrective grinding
I bought several of these, in different colors, as they went on sale. I will have them powder coated to match, but was advised the sharper edges would shorten the length of the powder coat. Of the 6 I purchased, every one of them requires either rasping on the edges. They will be perfect when I am done with them. Had I paid full price, I would have been mightly torqued for shoddy attention to detail.

Ordered these corbels to hold granite counter top with 16 inch overhang, worked awesome, very sturdy…

Nice strong bracket
I ordered several of these to hold up a granite bar top in our outdoor kitchen. They are super stromg and look beautiful. I knocked off one star because the top mounting predrilled holes are too close to the top of the bracket. If you mount them with concrete anchors like I did then you run the risk of the anchor breaking apart the concrete due to the drilled anchor hole being too close to the edge. I had to drill new mounting holes about an inch further down the bracket which is no easy task because this stainless steel material is extremly hard.

Beautiful and Sturdy
These are great! We have five of these holding up the granite on our island bar and they are both crazy sturdy and look really nice. Even our granite contractor was extremely impressed with the sturdiness and look of them. In research I found that you want your brackets to be about 2-3" less than the depth of the counter they are supporting if for granite and these were perfect.

PREPARE TO DO SOME FINISHING WORK PRIOR TO INSTALLATION
NICE LOOKING PIECE FROM A DISTANCE, HOWEVER AS PREVIOUSLY MENTIONED BY OTHER PURCHASERS, THE EDGES ARE NOT PROPERLY FINISHED. THEY ARE SHARP AND WILL NEED FILING IN ORDER TO BE COMFORTABLY INSTALLED. STILL WORKING ON THE PROPER FINISHING, SO HAVE NOT INSTALLED YET. THEY LOOK AS THO THEY WILL INSTALL OK. BY THIS STAGE, THE MAKERS SHOULD HAVE REMEDIED THIS SHARPNESS, AFTER ALL THEY WILL HIT PEOPLES KNEES AND THIGHS WHEN USED TO SUPPORT A STONE BAR TOP -- TIME THEY PAID ATTENTION TO QUALITY CONTROL. I NEEDED PIECES I LIKED IN A HURRY TO PLAN IN MY KITCHEN, SO TOOK A CHANCE, NOW HAVING TO PAY FOR REFINISHING EDGES THROUGH SPECIAL CONTRACTOR. A SLOPPY SHAME.

Heavy Duty
The heft of this corbel is what I had desired to support the cantilevered corner of the butcher block bar top. I would have rated it a 5-star except for one things. The cutting method left the edges rough and required the use of emery cloth to form a smooth micro-radius where knees could come in contact while seated at the bar.
