Lovely Boots!
These are simply lovely boots -- soft Italian leather, pull-on (no zipper or stretchy stuff), tall (to the knee). I now have both cognac and black . Comfortable.

Could be great if not for cheaply constructed sole
This could be a beautiful boot, but there is visible glue around the entire sole that is very visible in sunlight. The dried glue spills out onto the leather and fills large gaps in some areas, which makes me wonder if these will fall apart quickly. I’m not familiar enough with Steve Madden to know if this is expected poor quality or if these are knockoffs (neither is worth the full $199 price). Other than that, the material holds its shape well and fit is slim without it being difficult to slide your foot in. If not for the glue issue coupled with the steep price, would be a 5/5 boot.
