Smells great & makes my skin feel super soft!
I love this face wash! The scent is really nice, not too overpowering but still present. It provides just enough exfoliation that I feel like it's doing something but it's not *so* much that I feel like I'm scrubbing my skin off lol. My skin is naturally pretty dry, but this doesn't seem to dry out my skin any more than normal. I've just been using this scrub every other day then applying a bit of lotion & I'm good to go!

Smooth but scent too strong
I'd normally buy Pink Lemon & Mandarin, but since they were not available at the time, I bought Avocado & Honey instead. Comparing the two, Avocado & Honey has a smoother texture, but it has a perfume-like scent that is way too strong. I wish I could return them.

Pretty Gentle Physical Exfoliant Scrub, Subtle Scent, Skin Soft, Smooth, Moisturized
I am actually pleasantly surprised by this St. Ives Avocado and Honey Soft Skin Scrub. It has been quite awhile since I have used a St. Ives scrub as I have pretty much converted to chemical exfoliants. I think I used some type of apricot scrub by this brand before that was okay, but honestly, I think I remember the exfoliating pieces bring rather large. This scrub seems nice as far as physical exfoliants go. It comes out as a thick green cream with a pretty fine grit to it. It states the “exfoliation factor” is moderate. I wouldn’t want it to be any rougher and I highly encourage everyone to be very gentle with scrubs like this. It does seem pretty moisturizing as well. The scent is nice and pretty subtle which I prefer. As always, I wish that the company would simply list the ingredients instead of writing “fragrance (parfum).” Also, I find the addition of added colors unnecessary. My favorite color is green and I get that they want an avocado green for marketing purposes, but still. I used this in the shower, and when I was done, I dried my face and it felt wonderfully clean, soft, and smooth without being dried out. I haven’t experienced any type of irritation and I have eczema prone skin. Overall, I still think this is a nice product as far as physical exfoliants go. I will use this GENTLY on my face sometimes and probably more regularly on my body. If you are looking for a scrub type product, then I would recommend it as long as you use it properly. It also seems to be a pretty good value overall at the current price of $26.64 for six 6 oz tubes. Please note that the box was sealed with tape by the company, but the individual tubes did not have a safety seal. I hope my review was helpful in some way, and if so, I would love to know- thanks!!

Creamy fragrant base w/ walnut shells & corn meal. Smooth skin. Try it on HANDS too!
Not like the old apricot scrub where all I remember were big abrasive particles. Stayed away from that for many years, and instead got into chemical exfoliation. This scrub has finer pieces of walnut shell and corn meal as its physical exfoliating ingredients. It's feels gentle, but please by all means use a light touch. This does scrub away at the skin. I normally only do chemical exfoliation, but an occasional gentle physical scrub is good too. This is nice and creamy, so I feel like it is taking off grim, skin care products of the day, and dead skin cells without stripping my skin. I don't limit this to use on face, actually I prefer it for use elsewhere. I keep a tube of it at the sink so I can wash & scrub my hands. This is excellent for that!! Skin is left silky smooth while also being thoroughly cleaned. Try it. You will see :) Next, is keeping a tube in the shower for use all over body and feet. Lastly, and only when I really want to use a quick physical exfoliator on my face do I use this there. Definitely makes for soft skin all over. "St. Ives Soft Skin Scrub for Soft Smooth Skin" definitely lives up to its description. Couple quick things to know: --Fragranced- its pungent in a fresh, energizing way. I dont mind it. --Color of smashed avocado, thanks to yellow #4, Blue #1 and Red # 33 --Scrub particles are crushed walnut shell and corn meal. 4.5 stars from me.

moderate exfoliation for face and body
This is a set of 6 tubes of St. Ives "soft skin scrub." Each tube has a large amount (6 ounces) and does not include a seal. It's very easy to dispense. The scent is pleasant, but moderate in strength. The "exfoliation factor" on the tube is identified as "moderate," and I agree with that. For me, the amount of scent and exfoliation is a bit too much for my face. It's not irritating, but it feels too strong for my sensitive, older (she, 60) skin. But, I do LOVE using this as a gentle body exfoliant in the shower. For me, most body scrubs are too strong, but this is wonderful.
