Two Unusual Issues With This Puzzle.....

I've been a long-time fan of Springbok jigsaw puzzles, but "Balloon Fest" is a bit of a disappointment - firstly, while the pieces do fit together, it is a struggle to get them to fit, so much so, that I actually questioned whether they did fit together! I've never had this problem before... Also, several puzzle pieces were "bent" (!) Not sure if this occurred during manufacture or in packaging.....

Beautiful puzzle

This is a gorgeous puzzle and Springbok makes such sturdy puzzles with the most creative, fun shapes. I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 because some of the colors didn't totally match up with the picture on the front, which made it quite difficult to finish.

Fun pieces - ok fit

We have always done Ravensburger puzzles but wanted something different. These pieces were much different and had very creative combinations. Down side is they isn’t seem to fit as cleanly as Ravensburger pieces and lots of them were still connected upon unboxing. Overall enjoyable once we got used to how it feels when the pieces match but there’s nothing quite like a Ravensburger “fit.”

Each piece unique

The pieces were all very unique and different, so there was no danger of trying to figure out where they went. However, the cardboard was on the thick side and the pieces were a little difficult to fit together.

Home made puzzle falsely advertised as a Springbok puzzle

The seller advertised these as a Springbok puzzle, included pictures of Springbok in the listing, sold them at Springbok prices, but the only thing that is a Springbok is the image. It appears that the seller took a scan of a Springbok puzzle image and made their own home-made puzzle. The quality and thickness of the puzzle pieces are not even close to what you would receive from a legitimate Springbok puzzle. Amazon should not allow this seller to be selling this cheaply made ripoff puzzle on their webpage.
