I have a little boy named Bear who is part Chihuahua and part Jack Russell terrier who loves his toys more than any dog I have ever owned. I bought this Chirpy Chickadee and Bouncy Mouse and had them sent right away and then once a month on subscribe and save. ( I used to buy Bouncy Mouse at the 99 cent store years ago so was delighted to see them on Amazon.) These are actually cat toys, but he loves to dismember Bouncy Mouse, first destroy that bungee, then the hands and feet, then the ring, which he presents to me either as a trophy or to announce to me that he, The Bear, has officially unleashed the Mouse from its tether once and for all and it is "Mine, all Mine" ( when he was little, the bungee would pull him back when he took off with the mouse and he has never liked to play 'tug of war') It just so happened that these toys arrived within a week plus I had also ordered a buzzing Bee that arrived a couple of days later (which, likewise, could not stand up to the Buzz killer Bear, you know), Now, he, The Bear, has to jump up on my lap and dive into each and every package I get from Amazon, checking for more varmints. It is hysterical. I wish I could afford to send him something at least once a week, but, alas, there is a limit to my craziness. Who knew? Now, I realize I am probably the only person on Amazon who orders these toys so their dog can destroy them, but actually, the bodies of the toys are still in tact just fodder for Bear's ego that he keeps in his 'cave' under my chair to guard from Jack for all time and eternity. I am sure they would hold up nicely for a cat or a little dog not hell bent on living up ti his name (if you are a Bear, then be a grizzly) However, he loves them (or maybe he hates them) and loves getting mail, so I am delighted that these are a subscribe and save item. ...and as for Jack, he tastes them, goes in and gets a mouthful of food to eat at my feet, then poses in front of me for a pet, you know, "some days mice or Birds and some days feathers" but Jack would rather have a snack and some love.
