Decent Garage Oxford

Been looking for work shoes that are made from real leather, that have good insides and souls, that will stand up to me standing up and walking my average 5 to 7 miles a day, all on concrete. Tried all the sneaker types, supposedly leather shoes and have had them all fail due to very thin leather if it was leather, and disbond at the souls or insides tear up at the heal. So far, these are holding up well, with no signs of problems with the leather or insides. The upper seems to be thick enough leather to not split, but also is flexing well with my stride. They seem to be well put together so far. The padded foot bed is comfortable so far. The slip resistant souls are good, but do collect small rocks. Comfort is good, with little break in time, about a day, and my feet were used to them. I can't speak to longevity yet as I've only worn them a few weeks, but so far so good. I'll update if these fail, or are lasting and wearing well. I have been going through shoes about a pair every 8 months to a year, with my last three sneaker types not lasting that long, so I really hope these last better.

souls last forever

I got these in 2021 and souls are like new and I work as a maintenance director in a large building. But the lather on the toes is very thin and wore out very quickly I wish the they were as good as the souls. I know its been a long time but the hole in the toe started quickly and i hated to stop wearing them since the souls are so good. In all a good shoe but for 80 bucks and being that they are meant as work shoes a thicker toe would help.

Made my son twirl

I recently purchased these for my son who is a food runner at a busy restaurant. When I asked him how he likes them he twirled, then cat walked as if carrying a tray of food and stated “my feet are on pillows all through my shift”. Happy feet, happy teen son, happy mom!

great shoes can't complaint

Great shoes for working, I do Security work, and these have been a very comfortable shoe for my 10 hors of security activity on my feet, walking, standing or even sitting, I have to say I am very comfortable. No foot discomfort and great to keep them shinny just wax and buff. it was worth the price.

They're good for looking professional

They get dirty a little easy, and they'll just wear down if you're looking to travel long distances. That said, they are just the right size, and otherwise very durable. The thick soles protect me, and the shoelaces were woven to last.

A tad tight, but decent looking and should be comfortable with an extra half size

These look good and seems sturdy. The soles are clearly slip resistant, almost sticky, which might play a negative role in its durability. Unfortunately, they were a bit too tight and painful to wear after some time. Ordered half a size bigger, that should work.

Great shoes just not for outside

Im a custodian and really enjoys these. I get to look professional yet co.fortable and I dont slip on mopped floors. The only down side is the anti slip picks up pebbles like crazy and thats not ideal for walking on waxed floors or basketball gym floors. Ill definitely continue to wear them but once they are warn out I won't be getting anti slip again.

Nice and comfy, works great as business casual shoes

After the "breaking in" period, the shoes works as expected. These were probably overkill for me in that I have a desk job in a professional environment. Still, I needed shoes that weren't too fancy but was budget friendly and would look good in an office setting, yet also be practical. The practical part, the slip-resistant design, works wonderfully as the lobby of my building, as well as the area I work on has tile floors that can get quite slippery when wet, particularly when people are trotting in from the rain. I haven't had any issue with skidding or sliding with these shoes at my office building compared to other shoes I've worn. Also, as pointed out, you may want to consider getting a half-size or one size up from what you normally wear. The shoes do have that extra tightness of boots and dress shoes. I did that; I usually wear size 10.5, but went for a 11, and it turned out great. Nice and snug, not too tight or loose.

Well made, very comfortable. But even though advertised as a work boot, they are not steel toed.

Great Shoes

Tried them in the shop first (but they only had 11's or 9's). Could tell they were comfortable, so bought them off Amazon. Glad I did. Bought another pair a few days later aswell. One pair for work and one pair for home. Put loads of polish on them to start with to help in protection. The grip is great - better than the recommended tyres on my car! Just like to add that they are still going strong - both pairs. Glad I bought them Further/Later Note: I just realised, I bought these in December 2108 (and it's now February 2020)! They're still fine. However, the one pair got a scuff on them (the work pair), from a steel gate that swung across my foot. yes, it's marked one of them, but I just put loads of polish on and they both look fine again. Still no complaints. Now March 2021 - still got the same two pairs! Still looking good and not degraded in any way. October 2022 - The working pair finally gave up the ghost. Back started wearing and the plastic inserts digging into my heels (Achilles Heel?), and inside was starting to deteriorate. But - seeing as I purchased them in 2018, can't complain. The good pair are now my working pair - and still fine (although I don't wear them that often). Maybe I was/am lucky?

"Extra Wide".....????

These fit small. They do seem to be stretching out very quickly which gives me some concern as to the quality. I've only worn them for a week so time will tell.
