Gorgeous sink for the price!

I adore this sink in my bathroom that so badly needed an upgrade! I fabbed the wood top myself, finding that (true to other reviews) the edge of your sink cutout may need to vary slightly because if the hammered surface. No biggie. That's why a template is not included. I coated the underside with Boom Mat prior to installation for a sound-deadening effect and wow did that do the trick! It sounds like...nothing! The sink just "glows" in the bathroom and though I was concerned how it would look adjacent to a brushed nickel faucet, they coordinate quite nicely. As for the finish, I'm pleased to say that 9 months later it's still as beautiful as the day I installed it! I've read reviews about toothpaste staining the finish so I did a tiny test, and yes, it can if it sits for a day or two, but there's a great remedy for that: KEEP IT CLEAN...kinda like anything else you're proud of. Carnauba wax works great as does the cleaning kit that comes with the sink. I keep a microfiber towel handy and the munchkin just does a quick wipe after he's brushed his teeth. Zero issues and a beautiful sink everyone compliments, for a great price!

great looking upgrade for the bathrooom

Purchased the sink to replace an existing Kohler white one that had a thin crack The sink is well made and a nice upgrade to the bathroom. It does require wiping down if you are picky about water spots, but this shouldn't be surprising.

beautiful, but noisy

When water hits the thin plate, it make an unbelievable amount of noise. Good news is - it's easy to fix. Just cut pieces of dynamat (used for sound deadening in automobiles) to fit, then adhere them to the bottom of the sink. You don't have to cover every square inch - just the main areas. Works like a charm.

Gorgeous and not as big once it's mounted on the granite as an undermount as you would assume.

Do NOT take it back if you think that it's too big! It appears huge but it's not and I LOVE it...I'll post pics later. It's gorgeous and natural hammered nickel. BUT...it is so tough to keep clean...it must be cleaned constantly and carefully. I love it but I never dreamed a sink required this much attention. You literally need to follow everyone around with a dry cloth to keep water stains at bay...sad.

Some looked like golf balls

Don't buy these if you need 2 of them in the same room. I have a double-vanity and couldn't get two that matched. Some looked like golf balls, and some looked like reptile skin. Either would be fine alone, but together the differences were too noticeable. The sheen, quantity of hammer spots, degree of overlap of each hammer, and the size of the hammered indentations all varied. There were also several small blemishes, and some areas where there were no hammer marks at all (making it look like a commercial sink at a restaurant or gas station). I ordered 4 sinks and returned them all. Sorry Sinkology, but you have to get your quality control in line! Thanks at least for the free return shipping.
