Nice Pattern

This was just what I wanted! Within a week and a half, I made three shirts. Howver, when I make a fourth shirt, I plan to use a different technique for the collar.

Directions are garbage, but great pattern overall

Made view A, following Peter Lappin's camp shirt class. Great pattern, fits well, the overall cut is great. Just...ignore the directions. The collar directions are basically incomprehensible as written, so watch some videos and do that, don't even bother trying to interpret the directions. The shoulder is cut with too much ease (like an inch and a half) so be prepared to ignore some notches and repin it a couple times. There's no inside yoke, but you could likely improvise by flipping the yoke piece over and cutting an extra. Overall a satisfying experience, but not a good first pattern-- but you should be fine if you can confidently make a tote bag and want your next step up in difficulty.

great finished product

I absolutely loved the finished shirt. I made this for myself. The size was true to the measurements on the envelope. I do not usually wear a 16 but had I not taken my measurements I would have mad the shirt too small. I did add 3 inches in length which worked out perfectly for me. All the sizes come in one envelope. The collar was difficult but it worked out fine in the end. I will make this again.

Simplicity always has clear and easy to follow directions. I've been sewing for 50+ years. I hope my brother enjoys wearing this!

Weird pattern

I haven't sewed in a while (I used to sew ALOT), so I got this pattern to make a shirt -- wow! It is screwed up! The collar really should have another piece - which would make it much easier to make, and the sleeves should be done a whole different way. The shirt ended up looking good, but I had to make several modifications. Would not recommend this pattern if you were just learning to sew.

Will make again. This is my go-to pattern for this style of shirt.

Great pattern. I prefer this over a more authentic (so they say) version of an ahola shirt.

Perfect

I was looking a long time for this style pattern in clothing. Simple button up short or sleeveless shirt. It was hard to find. Perfect since I can't find the piece of clothing in that style so I will make it myself.

Just right for Christmas

Easy to follow providing you carefully read each stage and not guess anythng! Did find the pattern for the men's shirt a little tight. Made it in a lovely Christmas material for ny brother who loves it
