Hat is a bit tighter than others that are the same model and a little lighter weight.

Lovely medium steel blue tending towards a dusty blue. Hat is a bit tighter than others I own that are the same model but a different color. It's also a little lighter weight. However, overall it's a nice hat. Washes well. Looks nice.

Extremely comfortable

This hat 'stretches' to fit your head, so there is no pinching or binding. The 4 inch brim is plenty large enough for good sun coverage & has a wire (or something flexible) around the outer edge, so you can shape the brim. I got the 'denim' color & it is a dusty blue - gray color that seems like it will go with everything. I was going to order black, but I was afraid it would get too hot with the sun beating on it. I have many (nice) sun hats & don't wear any of them because they pinch my head, are too heavy, too stiff, fly around, whatever. Time to donate them to Good Will so I can justify buying another color of this hat!

Great color, however

Fortunately I sew and have a variety of thread colors, because this hat was not finished on the edge where the crocheted around the wire terminated. There were also some open snags in the body of the hat that needed repair. This could occur with years of wear, but NOT in a brand new hat! And if I didn't have very fine hair, it would be much too small.

Great hat for large heads.

I took a chance on this hat due to the fact that my head is rather large size 23 l believe. Which makes finding hats that are cute and that'll fit my head a major problem. I'm glad I gambled on this one because it fit great and looks good on me also, It's easy to pack away and travel with too. It's also 100% cotton another bonus.

Comfort Plus

It is the most comfortable hat I own and consequently I'm wearing it all the time. It pulls down snugly and while a stiff breeze can dislodge it, most of the time it sits on my head securely. I love this hat. It's a great color too. Goes with almost everything..
