Beautiful colors, prevents burns, and is very flattering!

I'm 5'6" and weighing 114-118 lbs with a "fat back" that looks quite out of place for my overall slim figure. (If you have a fat back like me, you need to keep reading this review.) According to the size chart, I am either a 2, 4, or 6. Not having a clue which one would work best for me, I bought all three sizes and learned that I am a size 4. Mystery solved. Yes, as other reviewers mentioned, the head hole is tiny - but there's a way around it. Either put your hair down all around your face to create a kind of shield or cover your face with tissue paper (I used the tissue paper that came in the packaging) or some kind of smooth cloth and THEN pull on the rash guard. It will help the rash guard go on much easier without feeling like you're dragging down your entire face to your stomach. Now that that tiny head-hole problem is out of the way... I honestly LOVE this rash guard. It fits well (doesn't fly up when jumping in the water), it kept my back and shoulders from burning up while out in the sun all day under waterfalls and canyons, it felt somewhat cooling while wet, it's slimming, the colored strips on the back makes my fat pug back look slim and shapely (WOO HOO!!), and even though the main color is a dark navy, the accent colors make this rash guard far from boring. And if you're a terrible swimmer like I am, you'll never have to worry about a lifeguard not being able to spot your frantically flapping arms again - thanks to the lovely aqua color on the underside of the arms! I attached photos to show the different colors at different angles because the product shots don't do it justice! I love it so much I'm buying myself another rashguard (in my size 4 of course) because I don't ever want to be without one for the rest of my life. If you hate your fat, pug-like back, get this rash guard. If you hate looking and feeling like a freshly roasted red human, get this rash guard. If you hate boring colors, get this rash guard. If you hate being self-conscious, get this rash guard. If you hate rash guards that fly up and show your tummy while jumping into the water, get this rash guard.

Love it - Size depends on interest

I love this top Size: My problem is that my measurements are scattered through various sizes in the size chart. I am between 5'9" and 5'10", weigh 135lb, and have between a 33" and 34" chest. I decided to get a size 8 because, while I knew it would probably be baggier than a rashguard should be, I hoped it would have a decent length to the arms (I hate when shirt sleeves don't come ALL THE WAY down over my wrists). It fits surprisingly well. It is loose for a rash guard, but comfortable and didn't seem to weigh me down or cause too much drag in the water. The sleeves were almost long enough (almost exactly like those pictured on the model) and didn't ride up enough to bother me. If you don't care about sleeve length and want a traditional (skin tight) fit for a rashguard, I probably suggest sizing down. Use: I spent 2 straight weeks swimming, snorkeling, and kayaking in this shirt in tropical sun. As far as I can tell the sun did not penetrate the material in the slightest. I have to admit that plenty of time was spent in just a bikini, as well, so I was growing gradually more tan throughout, but I definitely would have gotten burnt without this top. I have never found any clothing other than a swimsuit at all comfortable when swimming, but this top was totally comfortable in and out of the water. Color: I went with the bright pink. I kind of hate pink, but thought the more visible and human looking I am in the ocean, the better. I am actually very pleased with this choice. The color is fun and visible and makes for amazing underwater photographs. Where blander colors made underwater pictures look overall murky-ish, this top "popped" and actually seemed to also help bring out the colors of coral and fish impressively. Also, I'm pretty sure this color is not see-through at all. I am modest, though, and not a fan of nipping out, so I always wore a snug, sports-bra-style bikini top under it. I would definitely recommend!

Snug fit!

The picture of the model actually has the shirt on backwards. The tag is on the white side ! I guess the neckline is the same on both sides. I am 5’7” 165 and the XL is super snug. Glad I did not order my usual L! Still keeping it

Love this top! Just a note on the colors..

I ordered this rash guard top (in the blue/teal color) to wear on a cruise I'm taking in the Caribbean later this year. I wanted something covering and protective for some water activities that we planned (outside of just laying at the pool). I've had 2 kids (one just 3 months ago!) and I don't need to show off my stomach anymore! I was somewhat concerned about the sizing given other reviews, but I followed the chart and it was perfect. I'm 5'8'', 145lbs and the size 10 fit perfectly. It was snug but not overly tight. Think compression wear, not spanx. The only thing that I don't love has to do with the Roxy swim shorts I also ordered. Since they're the same brand, you'd think the colors would match. But the teal under the arms is actually a different color than the teal logo on the front. The shorts match the tiny logo and not the huge teal section under the arms! But that's not necessarily an issue if you're just getting the top or the matching bottoms shown in the picture (if they match!). Just a note if you're looking for a set of matching bottoms. I'm keeping both and wearing them together anyway since the color isn't that off.

Tight neck, but so cute!

It fit great, true to size. So cute and I really wanted to love it, but the neck on it is high compared to other rash guards I have. I don't really like things touching my neck, so I returned.

Great Shirt but Size Up

The only reason this got a four start review and not a 5 star was because, as others have mentioned, the sizing is super small. My daughter would normally wear and small or medium and the XL fit her well. The shirt itself was great for the summer sun.

Great buy, fits well and looks good, but white color stains very quickly.

Bought size 8 and the fit is good everywhere - neck, bust, armpits, wrists, waist and hips. I'm 1.73cm high, 58kg. When dry, it is not too long nor too short and stops right where the bikini bottom starts. When in the water the fabric loosens up a little, especially around the hips and rides up a little, as you can see in the picture. It was not a problem for me as I also wear long pants to avoid sunburn. The rash guard offered great protection from the sun. I used it for a whole month and did snorkelling and diving with it. The only issue I have with it is that the white color is easily stained - it started from the first use when I got a stain on the sleeve, and then stains became more evident with each use as the sunscreen also leaves yellowish traces. I would buy again, but would steer clear from white color.

I ordered it for my daughter as per the size chart. My daughter is 5'6" and about 115 lbs. I was hesitated to order between the "6" or "8" but most reviewers said to go with smaller size, so I have order a "6". However, the size is a bit smaller than what I have expected, especially for the neck. The color is very different from the photo. It is magenta instead of pink. But for the price I have paid, overall is ok.

Definitely a small fit

Bought the xs due to previous reviews and it fits my 12 year old, 90 lb daughter, who would take a 0 or 2 well. Nice material and pretty colors.

Wise purchase.

After careful reviewing previous comments, I got size 4. It is good quality. I'm 162cm and 45kg, it fits me well and it isn't that tight overall except for neck part. I wear bikini on top, still fits good. I agree that surfing suit should be tight or at least not that loose as normal clothes.
