Inconsistent sizing

2020 - Purchased 2 pairs of these. One fits and one is too small. 2023 - Needed black pants for a new job. Decided to give these another try. Purchased 1 pair and they are too small. The pair that fit from 2020 still fits but are getting worn. How hard is it to make pants with consistent sizing?!

Fit well.

It is hard to find jeans that fit my plus size frame. They fit really well. I got tall because I'm not short and the length is perfect. I'm 5'9" and they hit the heal of my shoes without walking on them.

Why oh why can’t designers and manufacturers use one sizing?!

Trying to save money this year so I have returned to Lee or rider jeans to help my budget. I ordered a different style earlier and it was unavailable so I opted for this pair. I went with the longs as I’m 5’ 8” and like a bit more length and no floods. In comparison to the other pair this one is longer by about 2” so when barefoot I’m walking on the legs. What really gets me, and this is for any manufacturer of women’s clothing: REVAMP the sizing blocks you use! I am so tired of women’s clothing especially of the plus variety: no thought is given to the ease through the hips, thighs or calves. As women go up in size most generally we don’t have thin legs as our counterparts who may be a size 2. Giving an extra inch of ease through these areas is a help. I hate having bought a longer leg for my height and then find the crotch length being as short as a regular or petite rise so if you sit and happen not to have a belt on, you moon the world. I find I’m always yanking the jeans up! What gets me further is that within one brand to have such swings in sizing and NO CONSISTENCY whatsoever. I’m about over it. For companies spouting their inclusivity of women’s bodies and fits, they are all failing. Will the industry please take a look at what women really look like these days? I know everything is in an average but as a plus and taller lady: I’m tired of tight calved jeans when they say straight leg, I’m tired of low rise when it is marked to be a mid rise, I’m tired of marked up prices for something beyond what is termed an average size, they don’t charge more for petites but they do talls or pluses. And I’m tired of lack of availability and finally, tired of shallow front pockets - what’s the point? That said, these jeans are nothing special. The fabric is ok, the color is fine, made in Kenya and I don’t expect they’ll wear for a long period of time. I’ll be moving onto something else. I turn to Amazon because, well, most of my local stores have closed and of course, I can’t get longs in a local store because evidently US women must all be 5’5” and under for local stores to carry “their size” so I’m dependent on the crapshoot online buying forces me to do. Sorry, but I am frustrated with the sizing being used these days and I’m frustrated with what is available and since Amazon has a loud voice - help make that change!

Nice Bootcut Jeans from Riders by Lee - BUT NOT MIDRISE

These don't say Midrise on the inside label or on any tags!! Misleading cause I NEED MIDRISE. Midrise is getting very hard to find & are very much needed for us women that really need them for comfort I will keep them anyway,,, I will roll the waist down a couple of inches for comfort!! Please bring back Lee Midrise Jeans for us women that really needs them!! LOVE BLACK & BOOTCUT & THE FIT IS RIGHT ON>>>>EXCEPT TOO HIGH WAISTED!! I NEED A LOWER MIDRISE THAT USE TO BE PERFECT IN PETITE SIZES... THANKS
