Rough, choppy action, but works OK

I bought this HD-800 model (Made in China) to replace the CN-10 crimper (Made in Korea), which I destroyed trying to adjust it. I've used this one for a while and I have reservations about it, too. It has no side cutters, so I have to carry another wire/cable cutter with me, and it is not spring loaded. It crimps OK, but is hard to use with one hand, unless your hands are very large, and the action is rough and choppy. If I had to choose between the two, I'd go back to the CN-10 model. I also wrote a review on the CN-10 model, which Amazon sells as the Billfisher Deluxe Hand Crimper.

It seemed to get loose after very few crimps,like 10. I sent it back.

10 YEARS WORKS PERFECTLY

Had this crimper for 10 years and it works perfectly, while other cheap junk ones have fell apart. compact and does the job its supposed to.

It would highly useful if the product description included the exact millimeter sizes of crimping sleeves the dies in this tool are meant to crimp. I might raise my rating if more information was included in the description and I might even buy the tool.
