Long Lasting!

Saves big bucks from using those "stringer" type weed whackers/eaters. Once I got this, never went back to using stringers! These trimmer blades are very long lasting! RECOMMENDED!

One blade = center walkway + sidewalks + curb sides (corner lot). If you're on an interior lot, 1 blade might last a month

Note: I'm a 49 y/o female, so the whole process is likely easier and more efficient for men. I actually love the trimmer/edger and not dealing with string, but since I live on a corner lot, by the time I do the middle, sidewalks and curbsides (don't even get to do the driveway and alley with the same blade) the blade is down to a nub. I'm still buying it once or twice a month and two or three at a time (at a price comparable to string, 1 blade roughly=3 pack of string that I'd waste in tangles anyway) so I have to have a spare in case of sidewalk rocks and not being as strong in the arms (bouncing along at times!) while using the trimmer. I wonder if I can do subscribe and save during edging season...

I'd like to order some more of this product, but am never sure of the correct one as I lost the directions. Also need to order only the guard as I lost that somehow too. Any help with those issues would be great.

Great product, needs to be sturdier

Great design & makes yard work quick. Absolutely HATE string edgers & time involved w/string breaking or getting tangled. This eliminates that but if there is any contact w/concrete, it will wear down faster. Needs to be a better quality material & is a little pricey, but worth it to never have to deal w/string again!

Great Invention

I really enjoy using my sun Joe. It is easy to handle, I have a bad back and hip. I feel good being able to manicure my lawn and flower beds. Dealing with the string things was aggravating, always snapping off. Thank you so much.

The Cowling Falls Off

This tool had the potential to be exactly what I wanted. I had grown tired of string trimmers on which the string snapped too frequently, and the autofeed function usually failed. So I hoped this unit would be the solution to my problems, but within hours of beginning to use it, the extremely flimsy plastic brackets that hold the safety cowling in place broke. Now, because of the durability of the blade, using the trimmer makes it extremely likely that I will get winged in the face with a rock or a stick.

it strong and cuts well but do be careful as its solid plastic and can break on wood, roots and concrete. it has a little flexibility.
