WONDERFUL!
This backpack was just perfect for our trip to NYC. I needed something big enough to hold my water bottle and our National Parks Passport books, plus copious amounts of snacks (kids HAVE to have their snacks if you're going to survive the day!) and this bag held it all, plus left me room for a few knick knacks we picked up along way. It was never too heavy, and I never got stopped because it was too big to bring in anywhere. Also, it's pretty cute!

Love the security of this backpack
I love this backpack! I love the security of the fastened zippers pulls and the straps and sides of the backpack that cannot be cut so it can be stolen. I purchased it for a trip to Arizona. It fit under the airline seat easily with room to stretch my legs. My iPad was secure in it and my medication and other items fit perfectly. I would definitely purchase more items from this line.

Missing a couple of things I needed
This is a well made backpack and I love the security feature of the locking zip pulls. It is very lightweight as well. When I looked at the photos online, there is a seam on the front that I mistook for an open pocket. My mistake for not reading the description more thoroughly. I was really looking for a daypack that could hold a water bottle on the side and that had a slip for my cellphone so I wouldn't have to unzip a pocket every time I need to use my phone. Since this has neither, I sent it back and ordered a similar bag with the features I wanted. If these two things aren't necessary features in a bag for you, this would be a good choice.

not big enough for a 13” laptop, but otherwise top tier
This was super cute and perfect for my vacation!! It did get a little hot (ie I got sweat all over it) but it held up really well over the summer. It’s not big enough for my 13” laptop, but fits my old ipad and a bluetooth keyboard, so I use it for light cafe days now. It has one pocket inside the big compartment (where i’d put my ipad) and another zipped pocket (for idk, a passport? receipts?). The big pocket will fit my water bottle and a few paperbacks. Or 3 skeins of yarn, for anyone looking for a theft-proof crochet bag. Who knows. The front pocket fit all my wet wipes, sanitizer, masks, chapstick, sunscreen, etc. It fits crochet hooks and pens and stuff too. It also came with a tiny flashlight! The hooks worked great, although by the end of my vacation I was sick of unclamping the zippers every time. This did work as a purse for me most of my vacation, but I will say that it would have been easier with one backpack larger than this + one purse smaller than this. (if your budget allows). Especially because the backpack got kinda sweaty haha so going to a nice restaurant at night with it was certainly a lewk I did not try slashing this. So don’t hold me to the slash-proof claims.

Smaller than expected
I purchased this to replace a Travelon that I really liked, but when the grab handle ripped off I needed another with a grab handle and straps. While I like the texture there is no possible way for me to use it for a 10-day trip.

3 Years and A Lot of Use
I am writing after having this bag for three years and needing to start looking for a replacement. I ordered one before this one that was worn away from several years of constant use and the same has happened for this one. I have used it as a person for work and travel, it has carried my supplies on several hikes day hikes, and travelled internationally with me to Europe and Africa. I have loved carrying a water bottle and a book or four, even a full sized iPad in it. While it can't take away every danger and risk, it has assuaged many fears and I have felt safer with it. In my pictures, you can see the zipper is no longer as it was and the metal wire has worn through part of the strap, but these have only been in recent months and after a few years of daily use.
