Consistent with produt description

It's consistent with product description. Please do notice the surface of this sponge is kind of rough instead of fine and smooth. It does meet what I am looking for exactly.

Not holding water

The density of the sponges is too low that water runs right through them so they didn't do much of the absorbent job. But other than that, they work okay for other purposes. Just if you want a good absorbent sponge then it's a no no. They absorb and hold less water than a piece of paper towel.

Did all the sponge things that sponges do adequately. Pro tip: don't eat them.

The only large sponge you need.

These sponges are very water absorbing. Would be perfect for washing your vehicle, picking up spilled or standing water. I used mine to wet down and smooth out a concrete wall. It does not show any sign of wear although it got pretty dirty but rinsed out nicely.

these are a good value

There just the right size, pretty sturdy, And I used them to spread wood filler in the cracks between the boards on my old hardwood floors, They held up very well on a tough job, and rinsed out well, they're actually still usable, which was shocking.

[Pat’s True Review: I bought this. 2020] Not sure what those other reviews are complaining about. The sponges are of a good dimension, and for a synthetic sponge load up with water and other fluids quite readily. I have been using one to wash walls before and paint job, and the surface roughness is just perfect to do a light scrubbing job and save me an extra step. I’ve used another to mop up little “oopsy” paint moment and it performed flawlessly, the damp sponge picking all the latex that erred on the oil paint without smearing, and even working fairly well on acrylic/acrylic in the same context. (I fear I’m not a very talented house painter.) The job is almost done, and I am pretty sure I will eventually find use for the half-pack I have left. They clean and rinse very well, so while I bought a large pack thinking they would be more or less one-shot disposable, turns out they have a lot of heart! Excellent purchase, good value. Will buy again when needed.
