Great seals.

I use my Instant Pot a lot. I love it. I wanted some extra seals. One of the "Rate Features" above asked to rate the "scent". I'm not sure what is being asked. I gave all the extra seals 5 Stars because there is absolutely no "scent" as far as I can tell from the material the seals are made of prior to use. Each seal may, and probably will, acquire a very faint "scent" after use, a scent picked up from the food made in the pot. A scent of a particular seal is detectable only if you hold a used seal up to your nose. But a used seal with a scent does not in any way impart a scent or taste to another meal prepared using that seal.

Make sure you order the correct size

I accidentally purchased the incorrect size. Although I own an Instant Pot, I should have checked to if there are specific sizes. I WILL BE RETURNING MY CURRENT PURCHASE AND SEE IF I CAN EXCHANGE THE CURRENT PURCHASE FOR A SMALLER SIZE.

Instant Pot Back in Use

I had a few month old seal (one of the red ones that came as a second seal with my pot) that started to malfunction by causing the lid to explode off the pot. Talk about heart stopping. I contacting the manufacturer to ask what may cause such a problem, telling them the seal had very little use. They sent me a list of things to try, a standard response. I decided to try a new seal, and 4 times of use, the pot seems to be working fine again. There was no apparent reason for the quick seal breakdown, but I hope it's a one-off. My kids have used their instant pot for years and never had to replace their seal, and I'm already on my 3rd one. Disappointing and will get spendy if this one soon fails too. It would seem that not all seals are created equal.

No more stinky rings

These are easy to swap out, so changing them to avoid having flavor crossover is a no-brainer. No more concern that your cheesecake might have a lingering taste of a spicy main dish.

Great price for a pack of two seals. I won’t be needed if to buy any more any time soon but next time I need a replacement I’ll be reordering these!

Good purchase

I like the different colors so I can change rings for foods that don't have a strong odor, like rice, or can use a different color for chili or stew that might cause a slight spicy smell. They fit my 3 qt Instant Pot lid perfectly and the price was good. Very happy with them.

Great Replacements

After years of cooking in my Instant Pot the original seal was now pretty hard and beet red. To make sure I don't blow myself up I bought these as a replacement and they work just fine. I use the blue seal when making rice and the red seal for other staining/aromatic foods and swapping them out also gives me cause to wash them which is a good habit to have. Stocking up on these isn't a bad idea if you're a heavy user of your Instant Pot!

Instant Pot now as good as new!

I hadn't realised my Instant Pot sealing ring had stretched until it moved during natural release with loud hissing as the steam escaped all around the lid ...... New one now installed and working the same as when it was new! ....... Well worth the cost and time to come from the US and I have the assurance the material is food grade

3 qrt / 3 ltr additional seals for Instant Pot Duo

Purchased for my new Instant Pot 3 qrt / 3 ltr. I had noticed after a couple of uses of the Instant Pot that the original seal (clear) can take on some odors so decided to purchase these. Plan is to use the red one for spicy foods and blue for sweet dishes leaving the original clear one for general preparation of meals. Good quality and would purchase again.

Perfect fit for my Instant Pot 8qt Duo Crisp

I've had my IP for a couple of years and thought it would be a good idea to have a replacement sealing ring. This two-pack gave me two for a good price, and they fit well.
