Gorgeous Light
I was looking for a pendant light for my stairwell that used three A19 bulbs mounted horizontally with a yellowed etched glass bowl to hide not so visually appealing LED bulbs while factoring in for the LED dim zone. This was the light that popped out. Not too fancy, yet elegant. It also is very high quality and solidly built while not breaking the bank. It really transformed my boring stairwell. I put three Philips Hue A19 bulbs in it that are actuated by a Samsung Smartthings Zigbee motion sensor. The lighting is excellent and was exactly what I was looking for. Installation was straight forward and easy (even for being 15 feet up). My only complaint is that the glass bowl is a 2-man operation so changing light bulbs is impossible unless you have someone else around or you have a ladder/step stool so you can service it from above.

Beautiful lamp, fell in love at the local home improvement, bought for cheaper through Amazon
This lamp looks great in our living room. My only caution would be ceiling height as the length definitely could become an issue in a older home with lower ceilings. We have a 50's Florida home with a slightly less than 10ft peak and, even with adjustments (hanging only by a couple chain loops), it is just barely out of head reach for the six+ footers in the house, but still looks fantastic installed in this manner. In a true high ceiling install, this would be a moot point. I would also warn those who might be doing a true swag conversion on this (cord ran in the cable drooped from a corner) that due to narrow tubing on the pendant, it is difficult to splice wires out of sight. A solution would be to loop the wire into the canopy and to splice a longer cord there if needed. What I foolishly did first was assume I could splice it in the pendant tube, which was a problem for doing in a manner that was fire-hazard safe. My solution became offsetting the two splices and using heat shrink tubing to meet the demands of the tight confines of the lamp tubing.

Larger than i had expected them to look.....
They are very bright. I have them on a dimmer so I can control that. They were easy to install. i actually got 3 and I have 10 ft ceilings with 3 trays in the entry. I think maybe I should have gotten the flush mounts, but they were more expensive and they didn’t have 3 available. They seem a bit large for a hallway, but they are very beautiful and classic.

I had this installed in my stairway to replace a domed globe which was impractical for changing bulbs. This fixture allows height adjustment with the generous attached chain. It is also really beautiful. I like the simple lines. It gives a good amount of light. Very happy.

Nice Light; Horrible Instructions
First, you will likely be able to find this fixture priced cheaper than what Amazon has it listed for. We ordered it from Amazon because of their customer friendly return policy and free shipping. Second, the fixture comes with a single sheet of paper entitled "Assembly & Installation Instructions" of which one side is printed in English. If you plan on installing this fixture yourself and have no prior experience with such installations, be forewarned that the instructions are horrible. There is no list of tools needed nor is there an illustrated sequence of the steps to follow during installation. Fortunately, we have both the household tools and limited prior experience dealing with light fixtures along with a couple of step ladders. After a couple of hours my wife and I succeeded in removing the old fixture and finally getting this one hung. There were, of course, more than a few not so complimentary comments directed toward the Chinese capitalists who manufactured this product. The bottom line, without the tools and some limited experience, you will be SOL at fixture hanging time and need to either depend on a friend, relative, or professional to help you out. Once hung, the lighted fixture is beautiful and a nice addition to our home.
