Steams well.
The stem iron works well but the pole doesn’t rotate to allow you to steam the other side of the article. The screen was difficult to install and falls off easily. The instructions were not good and I had to call to find out how to install it.

This is THE ONE!
I was looking to replace my previous Rowenta stand up steamer which lasted just about years even though I had no clue how to maintain it. I foolishly tried 2 no-name brands thinking they could not be that much different for a more cost-effective price. I learned the hard way that once you use a Rowenta steamer, there is no going back. Not only does this machine heat up at the process rate, but the power of the steam stays consistent through use. I am able to steam multiple garments in the time that it took me to steam one garment with other "brands." It is also very sleek and clean looking. I don't mind keeping it up and assembled. The screen is an added bonus. Now that I know how to clean it properly I am hoping this one lasts me even longer.

Vey disappointed.
I was taken in by the brand name Rowenta, who’s quality and design used to mean something. I’ve used their iron, made in Germany for years. I’m so disappointed in this steamer and I’ve missed the window for return. On high steam, it’s weak, I haven’t even bothered with low setting, it spits a piddles on my clothes! With some fabrics, that is problematic! I thought once it got going, it would stop, but no. Then the design, oh yes, it’s pretty and I like the screen, and it’s great if you just want to steam the front of your clothes. No wheels, ok, I knew that when I bought it, so you have to either walk around to the back, I don’t have the luxury of that extra room. With wheels, I could just whip it around, like the Pure Clean one I had before that last six years and was as good as the professional Jiffy steamer, it’s only $61.00 and worth every cent. With the Rowenta you have to take the jacket off and rehang it all while holding the handle. And to use it on the back of a garment, to walk around to the back, the hose is too short. Then, with the trouser clip hanger, once again, to do the back you have to remove the trousers, flip them around and reclip. It would’ve been so easy to make a clip hanger to unhook, turn it around and rehang. It’s all a pain in the neck. I’m so disappointed that I spent money on a machine that’s only attribute is that it looks cool. I should’ve bought the Pure Clean again!!

Finally found a steamer that does what I was expecting it to do! Easy set up, easy operation, great at getting the job done!

Works fine but built poorly...
The item that I order was a brand new but I found some dirt marks here and there and I couldn't wipe it clean...I think it is permanently stained in the process of making and unfortunately one of them is noticeably big. The built material seems surprisingly poor so overall the item doesn't look so nice despite it's pretty stiff price tag. Besides of cosmetic problems, the machine functions fine. It heats up pretty quickly and the steam is quite steady as well. Although I found it can be quite challenging to control it with a foot since the buttons are pretty small and especially power button needs to be pushed for a couple of seconds to put the machine on and off...and also the garment screen is not attached and roll up and down. You have to attach it when you need it and detach it when you need to fold the machine back to tidy. It feel like Rowenta pulled back a lot of desirable functions from previous models such as "Roll up screen", "Inserted accessory box in the body", and so on to compromise for some other functions witch I don't quite see...I can only assume they are A. Higher power and B. 15 sec shorter waiting time which are not necessarily noticeable...to be totally honest. I think I should have just picked either IS6300 or IS9100...but what is done is done...Well...

Replaced my 10yo steamer. What an upgrade. The screen is worth it!
My old steamer finally died after about 10 years. It was fine, and I would have been fine replacing it with something similar. I decided to do some research and settled on this Rowenta unit that cost 2x what my old one cost. I figured I use the steamer all the time and my last one lasted 10 years. It isn't hard to make up $50-$100 of value over 10 years. My expectations were much higher because of the price but it completely delivered. My clothes took about half as long to steam as before. I don't know what is actually different but it seems like this does higher quality steam or something. The steam just loosens things out better and quicker than my old unit did. The best part of this, and the feature really worth paying for IMO, is the screen. It makes is so easy to steam when you have a good support behind your garment. I really doubt I'll ever use an iron again now. It makes it faster and I don't think I could have even gotten my clothes this good with my old steamer.

Rowenta steamer
The assembly instructions are not great but it was easy enough to figure out anyway. This unit seems a bit more flimsy than the previous model that I had but it does steam really well. I am happy with it, I just think for the price it could have been made a bit better.

Not worth the money
I had brought a similar Rowenta steamer for my daughter 6 years ago and that is really great steamer. I thought it might be the better one, but to my disappointment, this doesn’t have wheels, mash attached to the pile of a steamer is not roll on and very flimsy, water capacity is half of the one we have. Even the price is double up and quality gone down. So I returned it. Not worth the money.
