Not 36 inch diameter.

I assumed the 36 inches was diameter. Evidently it’s the length of a panel prior to being joined. I’ll claim fault for not researching better. The diameter is more like 22 inches inflated.

The diameter is not 36"

The diameter is not 36 inches. This is the measurement of the uninflated ball measured flat, which is roughly half of the circumference. The diameter is closer to about 23 inches. I knocked off 2 stars due to the falsely advertised size. I purchased 2 sizes of beach balls and neither of them measured the diameter as advertised. I'm frustrated that manufacturers and/or marketing people who write these specs clearly don't understand the basic math behind measuring a sphere. Diameter equals circumference divided by pi. That's not hard. I left 3 stars because the ball is a good quality. Once inflated, it's a near perfect sphere to the naked eye. Many beach balls inflate as wonky oblong balls. The vinyl feels sturdy, but I can't attest to how well it would hold up to active play. I'll be returning mine.

Durable!

This beach ball is perfect for any unicorn lover who wants to spend time by the water. It has been tossed and smacked around with no issues. I would recommend it!

Durable, but the plug is tiny.

They're pretty durable. I've been using them as stuffing in a costume and people have sat on it and stepped on it. The plug isn't so great though. It's tiny, so it's hard to fit an air pump nib into it, and inflating it yourself would be very difficult. Also the plug has a habit of slipping out and deflating the ball, but that may be because I've stretched it so much trying to get my air pump to fit.

Get intex or poolmaster instead

I was mad at the poor quality of the material and construction. The material is hard and plastic feeling, it's got wrinkles where it was waded up and still welded together that way, it's got a tiny pin hole in it. But when I actually tried to pop it by over inflating extremely tight and jumping on it didn't pop! It's bad quality but it's tough

Two thumbps up!

Purchased this to use as a "jumbo sized" volleyball in a group event which included both kids and adults alike. Long story short, this beach ball arrived quickly and was just as advertised. I found the ball to be made of pretty durable plastic material. Just make sure you have a good manual or electric pump because otherwise it might take you a little while to blow the ball up, but then again some of us have more "hot air" than others - GRIN! Two thumbs up!!

Not as big as described.

The listing said that this was a 36 inch Beach Ball. The one in the package only measures 22" in diameter. Not too big a deal as I bought it as a cheap alternative to a Bean Bag Chair. When only 1/2 inflated, it serves this purpose quite well.

Would not purchase again

Bought these to play in the pool.............they were not good and would not repurchase. Heavy and not round....also the valve was not one that kept the air in........they seemed expensive to begin with and even more so now..........I rate these as a C on the A to D scale.

Huge but good quality

Good but check the sizes bc this one is huge for kids.we are all adults and still don’t like it . But the ball is good quality.

Inadequate product

Within minutes of blowing it up it lost air. Almost certain it arrived with a hole in it.
