More durable than neoprene, so less likely to rot or crack
Used for my compound bow peep site. If you are switching from neoprene to this silicone tubing you will need to make it a bit longer because this tubing does not stretch as easily. Also, you will also want to shoot several practice shots to make sure your sites are on target. I was shooting a few inches low at 20 yards after I installed it so I had to re-adjust my sites.

Thicker wall, cut longer
Seems good quality with thicker wall, however, must cut longer and pre-stretch before installing. Otherwise, if too short or not quite flexible enough, you may find your accuracy off. Durable and no cracking thus far.

Nothing like real rubber. Get ready to be snapped in the face!
The instructions are clear. Cut the tube length 1-2 inches longer than your old rubber tube. Followed to an exact length and first pull the tube snapped at release right at the peep sight. Stick to real rubber. My rubber peep alignment tube lasted over 20 years. This silicone idea is very flawed due to terrible elastic qualities of silicone compared to real rubber.

Simple Maintenance Upgrade
I've taken a handful of shots so far, but it's doing what it should. 2 issues seem to have been solved in the process. 1. My peep sight used to slide up due to the tension caused by the factory tube. Now, it stays in place. 2. The shot seems quieter. * I super glued the tube to the sight right from the start. I measured the tube at +2 inches beyond the old one. I tried it off with a little slack at the end, took a dozen shots and trimmed off the excess. No adjustments needed.

Great price
New to archery and my used bow needed a new sight tube. This tube seems to be working well and is serving its purpose. Made of silicone not latex or rubber so dont know how long it'll last but was inexpensive and contained enough in the package for at least 2 uses maybe 3. More than happy about purchase price since it was less than retail store for a single use tube.

Slippery and does not stay on reliably without glue. That could be disastrous not knowing until it slips on the buck of a lifetime. I shoot a lot. Weather dependent 5 days a week or so. It broke on me in about a month. Don't get me wrong. Lasts longer than latex for me. I'd say it's %70 tougher. Have your super glue in hand on your hunting trip. That way if it breaks you don't have to deal with it slipping off. (That happened about every 40 shots before glued when cut to the appropriate length.) overall it's good stuff and I'll continue to use it.

Good replacement to cracking latex sight tubing!
Works just as good as the latex sight tubing I had before but needs a dab of super glue to keep it from sliding off the peep site. Make sure you use a longer length of this tubing if you're switching from latex since its elatisity is lower. I made it about 1.5X longer than the old latex tubing. Also there is no deterioration in the couple months I've been using it. Gave it 4 stars since you need more of it then latex tubing and the fact it will not stay in place without glue.

Time will tell...
Not yet sure how well the silicone will hold up to time in comparison to rubber so that's an answer I don't have. It cut easily and slid into place with a little effort. I used a little saliva for lubricant and at first it wanted to come off at full draw. Something I've never had happen with rubber tubing. The other point of note though it's black it's very shiny and highly reflective. Not at all sure I like that part on a hunting bow.
