I really like the great looking replica design with the day display arching across the top. But, Michael Zweig used to make essentially the same thing for $20 which made it basically a disposable. This is now the cheapest gold plated version I could find. I don't expect the gold plating to hold up on this one any longer than that one did which was about 6 months, but we'll see. If it does last longer it'll be worth it. If that's a concern, get the stainless steel one. Came set up at its largest fit which wouldn't have worked any smaller on my relatively small wrist. I prefer the double squeeze over the pull release, but no big deal. It doesn't come with any expansion links. Holds up fine in the shower where I wear it to keep it clean. If you prefer, I'm sure you could submerge it in jewelry cleaner, though soap and water is probably easier on the plating. Like all quartz replicas, the second hand moves in second steps instead of sweeping, just sayin'. Update--The battery died almost to the day 2 years after my last review. After I figured out how to get into it to replace it (It's tiny and the back is harder to put back on than to take off, which is not easy), I decided to save the old one for parts and get a new one. The gold finish was just beginning to show wear on the down side of the bracelet, which is much better than the old Zweig I had. I wear it everywhere except in the gym, even yard work and in the shower. The crystal is amazing, no scratches, but on the down side, smudges can only be removed completely with jewelry cleaner--into which I regularly put mine to get the crevices clean and shiny. It's sized rather small. I have a relatively medium wrist and it fits just right, but it doesn't come with extra links if you need them. The back is not gold plated, but all of the bracelet is on both of mine, though It's not pictured that way??? So I guess expect either one.

Battery Dead in 4 Months

Watch looks good, feels ok, But now I understand why they have a battery replacement policy. Purchased in September 2022 and Now 4 months later January 2023 Battery Dead. Now you have to send watch tot hem with a little under $10 dollars for them to replace the battery. I made a gamble and I lost, sad.

Very Nice Watch

Very nice watch for the money. The band links are easily removed with a small screwdriver. Watch looks more expensive than it costs. I would recommend this watch, if you’re looking for a Date-Just type watch.

Great value....only a few links will come off for a smaller wrist.

I took my watch to a Rolex specialist. He could only remove a couple links. If you are a lady, this will have a bracelet fit. Really pretty and gold plating is nice. Cheap clasp. Could be $70.

Nice watch, very good value!

I bought this to replace another gold Rolex look-alike, and the first thing I noticed is how much larger the face of this watch is. The band is much better than the one on my older one, and this watch is water resistant. The only thing I don't like is that the 'date' and its magnifier are smaller than usual (and as a result, harder to see/read...), but then the 'day' window is larger, so I guess it's a trade off! As big as this watch is, you'd think they could have made the date window larger to make it more functional (and symmetrical....). If you have a real Rolex nearby, it will make you look twice, but not for long. Since it's offered with a 'limited lifetime warranty', I have to assume it should be well worth the money paid...time, as they say, will tell!

Very presentable

It looks like the 18carat 40mm gold rolex! Very nice to wear especially during special occassions. Hope it is durable and accurate with time after years of use.

No se siente de buena calidad ni se ve como oro

The media could not be loaded. Se ve muy bonito si lo tienes puesto pero también tengo una pulsera de oro de 14k (el reloj se supone que está chapado en oro con los mismos Kilauea) pero se ve más amarillo el color, no se ve feo y si da el aspecto de ser más caro de lo que es, pero ya cuando lo tienes puesto, el sonido que hace el brazalete y el material como se siente te puedes dar cuenta que es barato, si lo recomendaría si buscas un reloj bonito y no tan caro, pero si tuviera que comprarlo de nuevo no lo haría y como me acaba de llegar todavía no tengo opinión sobre lo que importa que es la mecánica y como funciona, pero a primera puesta esa es mi opinión

Great watch for a very reasonable price.

A great watch and although not gold, the coating lasts a long time. I am wearing it now 24/7 for about 8 months and still looks like new. It is now August 2020 and i am updating my comments to reflect still my satisfaction with this watch. It only stopped working once and only because the battery stopped working. I still am wearing this watch for 24/7 and any discoloring is hardly noticeable. I love this watch but i could not answer if the band is adjustable. I will have to check with a real horlogiery

Very nice looking but cheap

Fairly cheaply made, feels cheap anyways. Setting the date and day was a breeze, the first time anyways. Correcting it at the end of the month was nearly impossible. Change the day and the date changes with it. Change the date and the day changes with it. I fiddle with it constantly and cannot gets it to show the proper day and date anymore

Small Band

The band is too short. I have a larger than average wrist but don’t typically find that I have issues with bands. It’s disappointing because you don't buy a gold watch like this expecting or wanting to put a nato band on it. It won’t look right - so, now I have to find a solution. Haven’t got a tape to measure right now but will post when I do so others are aware before they order
