Braid not well put together

The braid had pieces sticking out everywhere like it was coming apart. On one side of the part the hair was not smooth and together. You could see where the hair was pushed into the scalp of the wig. It's also heavy and itchy. I kind of wish we had gotten an unbraided wig and braided it ourselves. In addition, the wig is not easy to use with glasses. Of course that might be true of most wigs used for play.

Braid is great, but the top of the head is very thin and messy

You can see the head cap part through the very thin hair on the top of the wig, and there were parts that looked scorched and weren't smooth. The braid part is nice and thick, but this makes it very heavy so the wig does not stay on a child's head. It was very messy directly out of the package on top and required lots of styling to even be useable. There aren't ways to secure it on the head, so we just did our best to use it, but messed with it the entire night for Halloween. It's just OK. I was hopeful it would be good because we wanted a nice, thick braid for the costume, but that is really the only thing that was good about this wig.

Not the Greatest Quality

The wig itself looked great in the pictures. The “hair” itself was good quality. The actual wig had fewer flowers woven into it than the pictured wig. Additionally, the small braided portion of the wig was fastened to the larger braid by bobby-pins that kept coming loose and eventually fell out. I tried to add more bobby-pins to keep it together, but that solution only worked for so long. I was left frustrated!

Very nice quality. May be too much for a little girl, I would say it’s better for ages 5 and higher.

Looks pretty, but heavy

Cute wig but was really heavy for a child wig. She ended up only wearing it for a picture and then decided to go out In her costume without the wig. Waste of money for a 2 second photo.

Way to heavy and big for a child

This product is amazing quality. However it is way too heavy and big for a child, maybe even a youth. It wouldn’t not stay on my daughters head. Very sad because it really is beautiful and high quality.

Frizzes Immediately

I am so disappointed with the quality (or lack thereof) of this wig. Immediately after removing the wig from the net, the hair on top frizzed into a terrible look from what should have been a smooth look on top of the head. Amazon was immediately ready to accept the item back. That, however, does not address the disappointment on my granddaughter's face after Nana had to tell her that we had to return part of her birthday present. Avoid your child's disappointment and don't even risk it by ordering this wig. This wig is designed for child's dress up and it couldn't even stand up to Nana removing it from the storage netting without frizzing. One shopper said that with a wig brush he was able to smooth the wig. My suggestion for California Costumes is to include a brush designed to smooth the hair. We didn't even try because we knew that a regular hair brush would spell disaster.

Way too big and heavy!

Bought this wig for my daughters Halloween costume, she loved it… until it was time to put it on. She wore it off an on for maybe 5 minutes at a time it was heavy and hurt her neck and it didn’t stay on. I don’t recommend.

Exactly what I wanted

Perfect size for my 9 year old, came in perfect condition and looks great! Shipped fast. Would recommend
