If you're after lightweight, these are the brand for you. The colors look more vibrant in the internet pictures - the frames are actually quite pale. This is your "save for that book signing" pair of readers. Use your other ones for tossing around the house. Get these a nice hard shell home.

Narrow and lightweight
Had cataract surgery and distance lenses put in so I am unable to see anything well at less than 3 ft. These are so lightweight and are narrower than most which I need. They are less than an inch in height. Because of their weight, they can sit on the middle of your nose without falling down and constantly needing pushed up like most 1/2 lens readers. I use them continually when I am watching TV and reading through my tablet which is on my lap. Can easily see over the top of lens. Seem more sturdy than other cheap pairs I have purchased.

Finally! Readers you can look over the top!
I keep searching for glasses that I can wear while I am needing to see close up and far away (which is basically all the time) by having lenses that are small and the nosepiece is at the top of the lens, which places them low enough so I can look down through them and up over them. Why there seems to be so few of these is beyond me! When I am at work, I need to be able to look at my computer or around the office. When I am at home, I need to be able to look at my writing or my crochet, but also look at the TV or around my kitchen. These are lightweight, comfortable, and they are true half frame readers.
