cute shoe

I buy my toddler's shoes big so I don't know if it is as expected. I do know that I like the design and the plastic shield on the front to stand up to her scuffing. She ALWAYS ruins the tip of her shoes (and knees of her pants) because she stays on her knees building things. I haven't owned a Pediped I didn't like and like the design, as does my baby (3 year old). She can put these on herself and go. She will not wear them until late Spring. By then, then will be about 1 or 1&1/2 sizes too big, which is how I buy her shoes to last longer. I usually put in a double-thick insole for extra comfort and to take up room while she grows into them. I'm on a VERY FIXED BUDGET and it helps to not have to buy shoe so often. I don't size up any more than that though. I will comment more on construction once she's had a chance to wear them but starting out they seem the same good quality as her other Pedipeds. i can't wait until the patent leather, fire engine red ones come back in her size. She still tries to squeeze into those because she loved them so much.

Average Mary Janes

These are nice, everyday "not-sneaker" shoes for my toddler. PediPed makes them pretty comfortable (according to my 2 year old) and they are really fine for pre-school wear with dresses or fancier outfits. The sole is nice and rubber so no slipping (and my kid is a runner)! The three star review is because they are just OK. This brand can be pricey, and you can get a comparable shoe to this one at almost ANY store in countless brands. They are not super glam shoes that are extra comfortable and therefore are not unique. These are basic Mary Janes. I do think they do the job. Like all PediPeds they come with an insole so you can buy them and get a little extra wear out of them by removing the extra insole. These shoes are neither disappointing nor extraordinary.

My daughter has a narrow foot that is hard to find proper fitting shoes. I had recently been shoe shopping for her and had her feet correctly measured to insure I purchased the correct size. We had this same style shoe last year and it was wonderful! The flex shoe style has an insert that allows the shoe to be more fitted when the child first gets the shoes, which later can then be removed as they grow. The style and color were adorable for everyday and coordinated well with all of her clothes.

Best shoes ever

We love these shoes. They come with two insoles so you can grow with the child's foot and wear them longer. This brand does run large and wide, which is perfect for us. The plastic overlay across the toe protects the leather from toe scuffs and compared to some boots we have that I actually paid more for, these still look like new. Top quality, highly recommend this brand and in particular this shoe. The silver gray color goes with almost everything we own.

Loved these for my 2 year old!

Bought these for my 2 year old, and she adores them. Fit like a sneaker, but dressier in appearance. She's been wearing the same pair for 9 months and it's finally time to buy a new size.

Too small

I bought this for my 2 year old doughter. She wears size 6 shoes. I bought these in size 6.5 and didn't fit. I had to return them and buy bigger ones. I have to say that the process to return them was very easy and the attention was great.

Quality shoe but not what I anticipated

This style shoe was hard, not flexible leather; and had a clear plastic guard over the toe or front portion of the shoe. This is a quality shoe indicative of the pediped brand - just totally unexpected and disappointed. I returned this Item.
