Sizing up is necessary

I love the fit of these Paige jeans. I am on the shorter side (5'3") with very muscular legs, and they show my shape beautifully in all the right places. I especially like the ankle length because (since I am short) the length is similar to what a normal pant would be, which is what I was going for. I listened to other reviews that recommended sizing up, and I do agree with this assessment and was glad that I did (I ordered a 26 instead of a 25). However, I haven't washed these yet and I am worried that they will shrink over time even more--making them too small on my hips. So, I considered even ordering a 27 (!) and washing and drying them to make them perfect, but for now the 26's look great. I will update to let you know how the black dye preserves over time. Hopefully, considering they were $170, they black appearance stays put. Update: Kept the size 26! It still fits well after washing multiple times. Color remains dark black. I always air dry though!

MY NEW FAVORITE JEANS

I have been looking for a flattering, comfortable, stretchy light wash pair of jeans for years. I have Paige jeans and knew I liked the fit but for some reason had not searched for a pair until recently. When I saw the sale price of these I decided to order and am SO glad I did! The directions say not to tumble dry but I washed them as normal and they came out perfect. I did think they felt a little larger than I expected so I wasn't afraid to dry them but I don't feel like they shrunk anyways. Ignore the negative review and GET THESE because they are perfect. I always wear a 27 and that is what I ordered, and they are great. As a matter of fact if anything I might be able to size down, so I don't agree with the reviewer who said they run small.

I like this jean, but I felt the waist was too large for the cut in the thighs. Had them altered and like them better now.

they're great.

The waist on these is a bit bigger than other pants so I find myself hiking them up all day. Otherwise, they're great.

Love the pants but order 2 size up

After reading the reviews I ordered 1 size up but after trying them on I wished that I would have order one more size up. They run super small

Fits all the curves like a well made glove. This dark wash stretch denim pant wears similar to heavyweights leggings with great stretch in all the right directions while maintaining the structure, feel and look of jeans.

Wear out QUICKLY

I bought this jean in 2017 and it lasted about 2 years before becoming super baggy all over halfway through 1 day. I wear these jean about twice a week before washing cold delicate and hang drying. I bought these again in March 2019 and by December they are now completely saggy. For the price I would expect these to hold up more than a year. I'm so disappointed and feel like I've wasted money.
