Pricey and not very durable, but will do in a pinch. Will try a different brand next time.

The design is sound, but the execution is imperfect. For anything other than ultra-light duty, I'd give these a pass. Definitely not what I expected from Nite Ize; I hope they have another go at these someday. The carabiners are the problem; they use a single-piece wire locking mechanism, but those single pieces aren't contiguous - they are split apart inside the hole/joint (like a two-piece axle). This means that pulling or pushing on the locking clips with any amount of force, from pretty much any direction (including the direction you're supposed to in order to unlock them) has a good chance of dislodging one or more sides of the clip from the polymer housing, which in turn means the entire clip is likely to fall out, which means your "lock" just unlocked itself, and your load is no longer secure. The smaller 'biners are particularly flimsy, and the big ones are far from reliable as well. The first time I used this set, it was simply to attach my 11oz sleeping mat to my pack (not even particularly tightly) - and one of the clips still somehow managed to fall completely apart while removing it at the camp site. Another came apart while putting the same configuration back together before departing. For as much as these cost (quite a bit more than comparable products from other brands which, in my experience, are as- or more-durable), it shouldn't even be *possible* to break these by hand - but it's so easy to do so that it's pretty much guaranteed to happen. My concern with using these on the trail (or for any kind of dynamic load, even small/light ones) is that I'll bump into a branch or otherwise apply the slightest amount of force to them without realizing it, and it'll cause a clip to fall out, and then something important attached to it will end up lost. I'm definitely not going to be attaching these to anything I can't readily afford to lose, but I'll keep them for hanging socks/etc around the camp site. (Though if that's the only function that you are shopping for, you can—and should—save money by trying a cheaper brand in this case).

Super Handy

Great all in one kit. I usually tie some butterfly knots in 550 cord but this is nice to just have ready to go.

Keeps tent organized

I bought this for my new tent which didn't come with a gear loft. This line worked great and kept all of my stuff organized. It comes with a bendy, what I would describe as a reusable heavy duty twist tie, type of attachment that easily hooked through the loops in my tent to hang. It was raining where I was at so we didn't leave stuff out at camp, but in nice weather this could easily be hung up outside as well to hold other gear. I wish I purchased one of these a long time ago!

One of my favorite gear room and vehicle organizers for outdoor gear

I use these in my outdoor gear storage room for hanging packs, clothing, and things like fishing nets. It comes with a perfectly weighted daisy chain for what this is, which isn't over or under-kill, and all of the S-Biners that you would need. The best part is that if you need more, you can just add them as needed, or any other biner, as needed. I use these in my vehicles to secure packs, hats, boots, jackets, gaiters, etc. The best thing is that it can be strung up on anything from a headrest post to being more permanent. It's a surprisingly useful and well made product, and I now have three of them to help me organize. Love it.

Great for so many different things!

We bought one of these for ourselves for camping, eventually we got a second one to take with us for travel especially when we go diving. Then we bought one for our diving family for their trips. That Christmas everyone of our adult children got one so now this is the eighth or ninth one we have bought. This one is for my brother who is a big boater and wanted something to take out on his boat to hang towels etc. Needless to say great product many uses. Thank you!

I bought this item not really knowing what to expect, low and behold this thing is soo useful! I did not think that such an item would improve my camping and hiking life! Pros: -Extremely well built - Comes with S-biners (and really good ones) - Can be used to hang almost anything - Materials feel very solid and I think it will last a long time Cons: - None This is a must have for any camper and hiker, I use it for everything form drying my clothes to hanging a light.

GREAT ACCESSORY FOR CAMPING

Used to add hanging storage space in a converted minivan camper an. Great accessory. I especially like the flexible ties at each end making it easy to attach to almost anything. Might order another one for the other side of the van.
