Simple FTW
I’ve had better luck considering not using fancy toothpaste, getting to the dentist twice a year (and drinking state water) than what I’ve seen around me but that’s just my two cents.

Dentist recommends this toothpaste than anything else on the market
I had a dentist who is close friend who recommends this particular toothpaste than the others on the market. All you need is something with fluoride and cavity protection. That is the basics you need from a toothpaste. This particular toothpaste has a good but not strong aftertaste. Purchased a 6 pack from amazon for under 5 dollars. THats a good deal!!

Forget The Marketing Gimmicks
Do your own research. I respect other opinions. Here’s mine… Lots of toothpaste are full of marketing gimmicks that does not do much good at premium price. This Colgate is what I call “old school” toothpaste with fluoride. To site one source, an article published by my leading consumer magazine subscription written by a medical professional mainly just recommends fluoride as an additive for most people which this Colgate contains. Of course, there are some exceptions such as toothpaste designed to fight sensitivity. For this and other exceptions consult with your dentist or other medical professional. Now, back to this Colgate. As of the date of this review at $2.29 per tube with Prime shipping included, I can’t go wrong. Some people commented they did not like the taste which is subjective including my opinion. I have no issue with the taste which to me does not taste bad. It just tastes like toothpaste. I use it to brush my teeth, not eat it. A note on the tube packaging. The tube does not come sealed (under the cap). Some reviewers complained about this. Most toothpaste makers do not seal the tube. Do your own research as to why or why not. The box containing the tube is usually sealed when it leaves the factory. I am not basing my review on the shipping packaging, just the product itself, but I must note… in the retail physical store the tubes are removed from a well packaged larger box and placed on the shelf. My tube of Colgate arrived from Amazon in a shipping envelope with a damaged box inside. See photo. The tube itself survived. For you math fans here is an equation: toothpaste box + soft envelope + auto packing + crammed delivery vehicle = probably a damaged box.

The outer package is not damaged; however, inner box of toothpaste was destroyed and there is not safety seal on the tube. Not happy with this…

Colgate for the win
Colgate products (including this) is of great value for the money. We have many different taste pallets in our home so we have a few different Colgates open at all times.
