Great product and customer service
We have a Standard Poodle so our life revolves around outdoor sports like frisbee and fetch. We needed a frisbee option for nights when the snow is too soft to find our electric orange tennis balls and this fit the bill. Our first play session our girl loved it: it flies and catches well and the colored lights are so fun and make it easy to find even under the snow. But when I went to retrieve it after a big throw I saw that the light was in the snow without the frisbee! After a panicked search I found the frisbee and put it back in but the small clear cover that holds the light in was somewhere out there in the slow. I contacted the company explaining what happened and they immediately sent out 2 replacement covers! We pushed one back in and let me tell you, that thing is NOT coming off easily... it genuinely must have been something that happened in factory or in shipping and I didn't know enough to check. It works great! And a month later the snow melted in a bunch of patches and we found the cover in perfect condition. Will definitely be buying more, great product and the company stands behind it. Just make sure the cover is pushed on before you play for the first time, it's well designed and easy to miss.

13 week old puppy can't open it
The media could not be loaded. So far so good, good and soft material. My pup has been chewing on it for a few hours. She is, of course, focused on the battery/led cover. As seen in the video, she simply can't get purchase to pop it off. The battery being a CR2016 isn't the best, some minor adjustments and a CR2032 would have absolutely worked.

My Dog's Favorite
This frisbee is a softer, rubbery plastic but not flimsy, and my border collie loves this frisbee over any other we've owned. The first one we bought lasted for years until we lost it. Then we got another dog that likes to play tug-of-war with it during retrieval, so it takes a beating. It has some slits in it now and is a little misshapen, but it still flies fairly well. We bought a new one, but the border collie hid it and is still playing with the old one. We've always kept an extra on-hand so if one gets lost, we would have one available. Now we'll get a new one for safety's sake and throw away the old when she isn't looking. The only downside concerns the battery. Our second dog takes off the cover over the battery for some reason, so we just remove the battery for safety.

Great frisbee especially as days get shorter
One of the biggest concerns I had and saw that many other people had was asking what type of material is the frisbee made of. It is not like a normal hard plastic frisbee nor is it like the Kong soft rubber puppy frisbee, it is somewhere in between. For example, I can fold it completely in half without it breaking and it will return to its original shape. When given a choice my dog prefers this frisbee over a hard plastic frisbee or the soft rubber kind. I can only assume it feels better to catch than the hard plastic version and can be thrown much farther than the soft rubber kind. I have only had it for 2 months now so I can't comment too much on durability but we don't play tug with this frisbee, we only really play fetch, and other than minor scratches it is in perfect condition.

Great for nightime exercising provided you supervise play and use care
We have a frisbee-crazed dog that's high energy and requires a good deal of exercise. We try to exercise him twice a day - early morning and again in the evening. In the summertime here (NC) its too hot late afternoon/early evening for him to run too much and in the winter, it gets dark early so we needed something that was easy to see in the dark; this product has been a Godsend for exercising him in the evening. This is not a toy for your dog to play with by himself. The disc is not very flexible and most dogs would chew it up in minutes, and especially because of the batteries and LED component, that's dangerous. But for interactive play between you and your friend, its great. As mentioned in earlier posts, the battery compartment and cover can come off fairly easily with a determined dog. We're considering just buying a bunch of the discs and gluing the compartments closed - when the batteries die, we'll just break out a new one. We're on our second one at this point; the first we bought, because of the design of the battery compartment, when we tried cleaning it water got in there and fried the LED component, even though we took everything out and dried it. The disc flies well and the light show it puts on is awesome. It's cool watching this bouncing light come back to you in the dark; makes us chuckle every time. The dog loves it, which is the most important thing. But you do need to exercise care and make sure your furry companion doesn't chew it up. The manufacturer would do well to improve the battery closure - making it less obvious to a dog (ours zeroed in on the compartment within a few minutes of first playing with it; distraction is the key here!), and more secure. We've worked with him to minimize his intent, but when he fails to catch it midair and it falls on the ground upside-down, his first instinct is to try to pick it up by the battery compartment, which seems to be relatively easy for him.

Flies great
Looks great, flies amazingly. Very easy to throw. Doesn’t last long thou. Is made of a softer plastic so easier on your dogs mouth which is great but our border collie he wrecks the edges then doesn’t fly and needs replacing. Looks best at night glowing. Really fun

Not a good buy!
Well it started out great. Dog loves the frisbee. Lights were bright and no chance of losing it in the early morning darkness... that was for the first day!! Second day the light fell off and the suction cap that holds it in didn’t reseal. I can’t get it to hold the lights at all. Total waste of money. Would not recommend

Bought one and thought it was great until the dog killed it after a week. Bought a second one and the same thing happened - battery protective cover came off and battery lost in the field! States it is dog friendly ????

My dog loved this used every evening for 15 minutes but after 4 weeks the batteries stopped working have ordered replacement batteries if that don't work its a lot of money for a frizbe.
