Buy it!

One of the best winter jackets I've ever bought. Not a bulky puffer style, lightweight but very warm for cold days.

Comfortable, Warm, and Stretchy

Great brand. Warm puffer with stylish stitching that supposedly prevents cold spots. It's not been cold enough for me to test that claim. Love that the fabric stretches a bit making it more comfortable when moving around as one does. Great price!

Over priced good jacket

This is a good quality jacket, it's certainly not a $250 jacket but with companies like MH you just have to realize you're paying extra for the name which is why they sell $9 t shirts for $40 on their site. Bottom line is wait for a sale, MH themselves do some deep discounts from time to time on their site which results in stuff being only moderately overpriced instead of offensively overpriced. The other thing to keep in mind with MH gear is a lot of it (especially the technical stuff) is slim cut, so you may want to go a size up (I've read some reviews saying this jacket runs big - I didn't find that, I went 1 size up as normal w MH, and it fits perfectly).

Feels and looks good

A good down jacket

Looks and fits as advertised. It's very light weight and extremely warm. I've worn this coat in 5° weather and felt plenty warm. Pockets are nice, and zipper functions fine. The cuffs are nicely tailored to easily fit around gloves thanks to elastic bands in the cuffs, and the waist of the coat also has elastic bands to tightly fit around your pants to keep cold air out. I recommend this coat to anyone looking for a reasonable down jacket.

Great for hiking/walking

Like the warmth, stretchable fabric and light weight aspects of this coat. Perfect for winter hikes with a simple base layer. Will keep you plenty warm down to 20 degrees.

Great between season jacket

This is a great, highly breathable in between season jacket (late spring/spring & early fall). High quality materials and looks great!

Lightweight trim warmth

As a repeat buyer of Mountain Hardwear, I typically prefer of their trim outerwear, the ragland-sleeve cut and non-bulky-shape. Insulating properties are much better than other jackets of comparable light-weight.
