Hanes X-Temp 2pack of Black Medium T-Shirts Received 04/06/2023

These appear to be decent t-shirts for less than $6 each. Here are some details I’d like to share with other potential buyers: The shirts I received have sewn-in tags, not screen printed labeling. The tags and packaging do not have any washing instructions. Packaging is not Hanes retail logo packaging. The fit appears to be like an outerwear t shirt, not a form fitting underwear t-shirt. I purchased size medium, I have a 40R chest measurement and wear men’s size medium in most shirts. If the t-shirts do not shrink I think I can wear them alone as an outerwear t-shirt or under another shirt without any issues. The fit seems to be not too tight and not too loose. Not a baggy fit and not a form fitting underwear t-shirt fit. The length seems long enough to tuck in pants, but not as long as underwear shirts with longer length. Sleeve length is not as long as outerwear t-shirts used to be, but also not as short as many modern shirts which have very short short sleeves. Given the packaging, tags, and lack of laundering instructions, I do question if these are indeed actually Hanes shirts or if they may be counterfeit(?). The fabric looks decent, but some of the sewing work looks less than top quality. I will wash and wear them and hope that they do not fall apart or show defects. I hope this information and thoughts are helpful to others.

Too short for me

I am 6'2" and right at that point where talls are not always needed, while normal length is just barely long enough. It makes ordering things difficult because often talls are not available and regular 3x could go either way. I had ordered two of these in the heather gray color and they were just long enough and I really liked them. I ordered two more in black and they were just a hair too short. No one wants to see an old man's belly button. If they had been more consistent, I would rate them higher as they are nice and soft, and the collars are well made and reasonably sized. Some shirts in 3x end up with a neck opening that is just huge and looks stretched out. These are well proportioned other than being too short.

Not really moisture wicking

These are good shirts, especially at the price I paid for them. The quality is there and they seem well made. Hanes is generally a good brand. However, they are a cotton blend, which means they are thicker and will make you sweat more as opposed to wicking that sweat away. I bought these without thoroughly reading the description, failing to see they are made up mostly of cotton. Read the description and know what you are getting. All in all still good quality shirts for the price but definitely not a performance tshirt

Great Product!

I recently purchased this set of temperature performance t-shirts from Amazon and was pleasantly surprised by their quality. The fabric was soft and breathable, and the shirts were well-made with sturdy seams and high-quality stitching. The moisture-wicking technology kept me dry and comfortable during physical activity. NOT TAGLESS! Slightly disappointed but they are ok

Slightly disappointed because these are not at all like the X-Temp t-shirts I bought a few years ago. First and foremost they are not tagless! They are more cotton-feeling as opposed to the stretchy polyester feel of the prior ones. They fit well for now and I hope they don't shrink. All in all they are decent t-shirts and I'm happy with them.

Why a tag now?

Used to be able to give these 5 stars because they're awesome in high humidity and rain. They used to be tagless too. That was a huge perk. The 2 packs I got now have stiff tags ????????

I really like the cut and it compliments my upper body. They do run slightly small; consequently, I would order the XL next time instead of L.

Wear them every day

I have always worn an under shirt and love cotton. I found X-temp years ago and love them, and they last. I have to order the X-temp because i never find them in stores anymore, and i order new shirts 3-4 a year to replace older ones. I used to wear other brands, but not anymore. Fruit of the who?

Hey, just thought I would write this to help somebody out. I'm looking for a great fit for company shirts, I figured I would try these out after doing a good bit of digging. I'm very picky with my clothing, so I have a few opinions on these shirts, good and bad. First off, I like them. They're nice shirts for sure, and they're very cool in the summer, even the dark gray. Not bad, they're very light and thin. They have nice flexibility to them. The material feels as soft as cotton should, they don't feel like polyester at all. The stitching is nice and even, it's exactly what you'd expect for a $7.50CAD shirt. The fit is okay. I don't mind it for the most part. I ordered smalls, I always wear a small. I'm 5'10", 160 lbs, lean/fit. My arms aren't large or anything. I find the sleeves are a bit too short, but I like them for their comfort. They're a little larger than I'd like, I prefer a fitted sleeve. If I had larger arms, they'd probably be good. They don't stick out too badly though which is my biggest pet peeve about sleeves. The body fits comfortably. It's for week around my abdomen. I don't really have a gut, so that's a pro for me. If you've got a belly, you might not like the snug fit. It is pretty dang tight around the chest/armpits. My girlfriend teased me about it, she said it looks kinda girly, which I can understand. The length is a little short, but it's long enough. My belly shows about an inch or two if I raise my arms up. Overall, I like them, but I won't be buying these specific shirts for my business. The comfort is there, but the fit is so-so, and I think I'll find better. My carpenter likes his, and it looks great on him. He's a bit shorter than me, and a little stockier. I'm hoping to grab some shallow v-necks next.

Great basic t-shirt

These t-shirts rock for every day/work purposes. Not made too long so if you're tall (i.e. > 6ft) these may be too short but for me (5'10") they are perfect. Medium thickness and cotton-like feel. Material, stitching and color seems to be holding up over time. I've tried gildan's and those are too cheap.

Comfortable!

Finally a t-shirt that's actually a large. I like my t-shirts to be slightly loose and these are perfect, nice and light and Aairy. Awesome for summer. No underarm tuck. I bought two more pairs in different colours.

Holding up well after a few months of wear! Goldilocks would be happy.

I'm quite happy with the quality and fit of these Hanes t-shirts. Originally, my plan was to wear them exclusively to the gym. But it's nice enough for day-to-day wear, too. The t-shirts aren't too small, they aren't too big; I'd say they are just right! The best part: the neck hole hasn't stretched out after about four months of wear (and tear). Only a few stray threads, only noticeable to me, and nothing to worry about. I got two colours -- Deep Royal and Black -- and neither show excessive signs of the colour fading. I'd be glad to buy these again.
