super comfortable business casual shoe that you can

This shoe is so comfortable! I had a 3 week business trip and needed to pack light. And because I was going to conferences along the way, I knew I had to walk a lot too. So I wanted a business casual shoe that I can pretty much wear all day. The first time I wore these, I walked 2 miles and had no blisters. They're light and comfy. The only thing is they are super small. I even went to the gym in these because I didn't have room in my carry-on for sneakers. I'm women's size 6.5 usually, and these are men's size 6 and it's slightly tight but not uncomfortable at all. I tried the women's Scout too, it is also small, but the men's material is better quality and doesn't look like cheap material.

Most comfortable sneakers! Order 2 sizes up or more

These are the most comfortable, lightweight, breathable sneakers! I had originally ordered my usual size which is a US 9.5 men's but as others have mentioned order 2 sizes up and they were right! These are not meant to skate in.. They are a everyday comfort pair of sneakers IMO. I will definitely buy these again when other color options become available

It's not a wide shoe, but really light and confortable

Comfert, Fit, Long Lasting, Pretty good shoe.

I got my Etnies Men's Scout Lace Up, Navy/Red/White, 11.5 D US in October 2016 they have lasted pretty well so far but the harder rubber on the bottom of the heals has started to break off the shoes. Also the toe side of the bridge of the foot is starting to wear thin because there is only foam rubber there. wish they had added a extra lace loop by the top of the tongue (shin ankle) part of the shoe so my heel would have been held in place better. puts holes in socks. Great indoor or side walk shoe. Though I would have to say not a good outdoor shoe. You feel every rock or stick you step on, and even shallow water will go over the soles of these shoes. I live in southeast AK and water has been my biggest obstacle. Over all they fit nicely, are comfortable to wear, breath well, and I think they will make it to the three year mark. (fingers crossed.)

My favorite shoe I've ever worn!

So I will start off by saying that I already owned these shoes before this purchase and I wanted a 2nd pair in case something happened to my original pair. However the actual skate shop site I purchased these from the first time had been out of stock in my size for 5 months. I took a shot in the dark and searched on Amazon and I found them instantly in my size too. So to get to the actual review! These shoes are the lightest weight shoes I have ever had and they feel like I am walking on air. The are very breathable and my feet don't sweat nearly as much as with other shoes. The sole/bottom of these shoes are made of like foam instead of rubber and are so much softer than rubber soles. I have recommended these shoes to everyone I know. I wish I had 50 pairs so I would always have a pair for the rest of my life!

Updated: Year 2, RIP.

While I rotate my shoes, I've had these for a little more than 24 months now. My review from the end of year 1: Some of the piping has faded (black on black + gum colorway), but otherwise they still look pretty new. I was not confident that the soles would last well with just having the soft-foam with no much rubber, but after many miles on trail and concrete they're still holding up. Year-2 update: I've had these more than 24 months now. Infrequent wear - maybe averaging a day a week over those 2 years. The rubber inserts in the forefoot are trashed. The rubber has gotten brittle and worn away severely. The non-removable insole how has significant wear under the forefoot to where they are now uncomfortable to wear. Still a 3-star because I knew they were cheap/light - and they still look OK; but definitely not a great longterm product.

They look good, but the sizing is off... a lot. Not to mention how narrow they are compared to other brands.

Narrow, shallow fit will suit some but not all.

In essence these trainers are great. Let's start with the sole, they got that right. If I could just review that part alone it would get 5 stars from me. Mainly because it's, light and you feel like you're walking on air. However then the mesh upper, its not a stretchy sock like some common trainers and if you have narrow skinny feet these will probably be awesome for you. Although the Laces are the most random set up I've ever seen on a trainer. They seem to have less, function as the mesh sock is all one. Laces usually expand or contract the trainer. In this case they don't. For those of us whose feet are wide, arches are high these aren't the best option,these appear to be developed for slender flat footed individuals. The place where you insert your foot is extremely shallow and fairly narrow. I was blessed with a high instep although the middle of my foot is narrow the front of it isn't that perfect hour glass footprint and so the arch makes my feet too deep for these.

Probably the best trainers I've ever owned

Nothing felt better than wearing these for the first time. I used these daily and the quality was great, other than the obvious soles wearing away the whole shoe stayed completely intact (unlike other most recent etnies shoes I've owned). I always have a pair now
