Really glad I tried this one
Well, I have only had this belt for a couple of weeks now but I sure do like that I finally went with a thicker styled belt for jeans and khakis with larger loops. It totally stops the problem with the top of the pants folding over or the pants button climbing above the belt line. About the only thing that would perfect it is if it were reversible. I have a 42 waist so ordered the 44 belt. Perfect. PS 10-29-2013: I caution that this belt is patented only on one side so if you are going to be working hard or in a wet environment it is likely to cause issues with curling when drying it so take that into consideration. Case in point, my previous belt was reversible and so patented on both sides and even after some hunting trips and daily wear I never had an issue. This one I did a little work in the deer woods one day and as it has dried it is not exactly straight any more. I still really like the belt, just throwing this out there.

They are fantastic. The Carhartt belt is good looking
This is the second Carhartt belt that I have purchased. They are fantastic. The Carhartt belt is good looking, great price, and most importantly it is sturdy, I am a large man that uses the belt to hold up my pants, not just a fashion accessory. I have spent much more money on Polo and Tommy Hilfiger brand belts as well as some unrecognized brands and what they all have in common is that they start to curl and the holes stretch, I have not had that happen with either of my Carhartt belts.

Not what it once was.
I had one of these belts for over 2 years—a feat for me because I can’t seem to get a belt to last more than 3-6 months usually. The first belt lost the stitches, sewed it up and have it as a backup. The second belt I’ve only had for just over a month and it seems to be different. It was really stiff when I got it and has stretched to the point of not fitting on the smallest adjustment. The buckle dug into the leather so that the end of the belt is rippled from stretching and adjustment. The finish on the hide has scraped off in many places and th leather has also warped throughout the belt. My previous belt was used and abused for 2 years and none of this occurred. Very disappointed in my newest belt. Even the $10 Walmart specials hold up better than this. I gave 2 stars because of th longetivity and durability of my first belt, but I would give the new belt zero stars if I could.

A areat genuine leather belt.
This is a genuine leather belt, thick, sturdy, and pliable enough not to be too stiff. I absolutely love it. This is leather through and throug and not some Chinese faux leather, or thin leather glued over laminated paper. It will not peal, crack, or tear. You may find it poor taste, but goes just as well with business pants as with khakis and jeans. The belt is not too wide and also works great for my concealed carry purposes. I loved the brown belt so much that I ended up buying a black one too.

Un-even coloring on the belt.
I needed a belt for casual everyday wear with jeans and so on. I ordered this. When it came I was surprised to see that it it was not all one solid color as shown in the photos, but had a "two-tone" effect that I think is a manufacturing defect, not intentional. See photo. I've been wearing the belt nearly every day for 6 months now. It has stretched a little, but not too badly. I think this belt will last about two years. My biggest complaint is the uneven coloring on the belt.

Nice solid belt.
Only reason I give it 4 stars not 5 is the leather is a bit hard for my taste. It doesn't really feel like a belt, it feels half way between leather and somewhat firm plastic. Still, I like the look of it and the large buckle. Even with the negatives, I still wear it. A good buy for men like me who are too lazy to go shopping.

Sehr stabiler Gürtel aus hochwertigem Leder. Gürtelschließe nicht zu groß. Würde ich ein zweites Mal kaufen. Ist sein Geld wert. Carhartt Qualität.
