Good but Too Expensive

In general, Morrican Oil products are nice but often painfully expensive. This one is so far most expensive if you take into account how much you need to use for it to be effective. It feels nice, smells okay, and seems to work alright but you need a bottle a month at least to really make it work. That's way too much on just hair oil every month. Also, every time this was shipped to me it had spilled a little. Which is a pain when every drop is worth so much.

A miracle for my hair

My entire adult life, I’ve had oily skin and an oily scalp, and I could get away with washing my hair every other day only if I used a ton of dry shampoo powder, which left my scalp itchy. Occasionally I was able to stretch that to a third day, but my hair looked greasy and felt gross. I started using the Moroccanoil treatment about two weeks ago as a pre-wash treatment, and it has been transformative. This week, I used the treatment on a Tuesday morning before shampooing, and I didn’t have to wash again until Saturday morning (using a modest amount of dry shampoo on days 3 and 4). This has NEVER happened to me before. I am amazed at the difference this treatment has made. Unfortunately, it is very expensive. I’ve used 3/4 of the bottle in just a couple of weeks, and I don’t think I can justify spending $80/month on this product. Which makes me sad, because it’s incredible.

Hurt my scalp

I gave it 2 stars because it actually does work. I have really fine hair that gets oily really easily and this let me go 2 days without washing instead of a strict 24 hours. But it made my scalp incredibly itchy and a little painful and gave me dandruff for the first time in my life. I may have just had a bad reaction, but it wasn’t worth the side effects, especially for the money. Update - it took WEEKS for the itchiness and dandruff to go away, even though I only used the oil 2-3 times. Definitely would not recommend.

Good but not great

This isn’t a miracle product that will change you’re whole hair routine, but it does help. I have very oily hair, and my hair is still oily.. but if I use this product as directed and style my hair with product as usual, I have noticed it is slightly less oily than normal when I go to wash again (2 days later)

Wrong one… but it works!

I purchased the wrong one for the recipient but they used it anyway and from what they can say it does work. They needed the one for dry scalp and when they use this it did make their scalp drier. So I was told to give it a five star rating because it works but not for them.

I don't think this is genuine. Smell is funky. Doesn't work - font on bottle wasn't English. Tried it anyway, but I'm not happy with the product.

It does what it says. Am happy.

I use it about twice a week. It really does what it says. My oily scalp is under control while I use this. I swim daily so this product helps prevent oil build up. I would recommend this along with supplements for thin and oily hair.
