Worked on a Delta faucet

These extenders enabled me to replace a worn out bathroom sink faucet after a countertop upgrade to granite. The new faucet's shanks weren't quite long enough to allow the water lines to connect snuggly. Basically the nuts on the water line ends were bottoming out against the the plastic shank nuts before the gaskets could make a good seal. These extenders come with gaskets you insert into the female end. I used PVC tape as well although I think it was overkill with the included gaskets. The metal washers and bushings (larger brass tubes) are essential, as they surround the joint between the factory shank and the extenders, giving you a new surface to tighten the plastic nuts against. In my case, with a brand new Delta faucet, everything fit well and worked as advertised.

Follow the video, you can't go wrong

We just moved into an 18 year old home that had laminate counter tops. We replaced them with 3cm thick quartz counters. We kept the wet bar sink and faucet, but the connectors were too short to make a waterproof seal. This extender kit worked perfectly with our Moen prep faucet and install was a breeze thanks to the video. A little on the pricey side, but it was a no hassle fix.

Overpriced, shouldn't be necessary to begin with

Works as advertised, but shouldn't be required to begin with if MOEN actually listed the size of the shanks on their faucets, or if they're designed to work with thicker countertops like granite. I purchased a MOEN bathroom faucet from a major hardware store, only to find the shanks not interchangeable, over an inch shorter than the original, forcing me to spend another $30 for parts they should just include with a faucet to begin with in order to fit any application. Big scam if you ask me.

Should be sold everywhere - very useful

Needed due to improvised sink installation - instead of undermount it was overmount and I required extra material to conceal the five, huge holes that normally would be covered by countertop. I needed a couple extra inches of thread and this provided it. Usually I can jury-rig anything, and I looked for every possible improvisation to build up the extra length and couldn't find any plumbing or hardware fitting that would make it work. This is the go-to method.

Worth every penny

We had new granite installed and found to our dismay that our very expensive faucets were too short. I tried the big box solution, but all they carry is a plastic extension that leaks and doesn't work. After carefully reading the reviews I purchased 3 sets of these and thus far it's some of the best money I've spent. 3 faucets put in with maybe 2-3 minutes per faucet added. Basically that time is all just to settle the rubber washers in place and then put the extensions on then snug them down good. The extra parts that you need to make this work, the collars and large washers, are included in this kit so you don't need anything extra. You'll have those new faucets in within minutes so you can get back to more enjoyable things than plumbing...like closing your hand in a drawer or walking into a door face first. Honestly this is an all brass solution that solves the problem quite easily and in a way that is likely to last for years. Thanks!

Exactly what is needed

During a recent bathroom renovation, I was surprised to realize that on not one, but 2 different faucets that I purchased, the threaded leads were too short to allow for both securing the faucet to the underside of my quartz countertop and threading on the water supply lines. Luckily, this product exists. Installation is simple; thread the extensions onto the ones for the faucet, drop it through your vanity top, then secure it using the included coupler/nuts that came with the faucet. connect the supply lines, and that's it! Very pleased to have found this to complete my install; much easier than buying multiple faucets and going through a trial and error process. All parts are brass too, which is rare these days.

It works

I ran into a problem when replacing the faucet on my old concrete laundry sink. I had to buy this extension because my old concrete laundry tub was almost two inches thick at the top shelf where the faucet assembly mounts (bottom supply lines) and normal faucet shanks were not long enough (I returned two faucet sets to the big box stores because of this problem) . I was stumped for a while, but when checking around on the web I discovered that extensions existed so I chose this Moen set. Worked like a charm, very easy to install to give you that extra room. One thing to be aware of, the set does not include the shank ring-nuts you need to ultimately tighten this unit up snug against the sink. I had to use the nuts that came with my faucet set (not a problem, same size as extension shanks). Buy it. Works like a charm. Could not have made my repair without it. If you are handy, you can avoid calling a plumber for this simple (but expensive job.)

Extended the life of our kitchen faucet

We put in a quartz countertop to replace our 40-year-old Formica surface. Didn't think to consider the length of the faucet's water connections which were now too short to reach through the quartz. Went to the big box stores to find a solution but of course they didn't have one and wanted me to buy a new faucet for $$$. I liked my old faucet as it has served me well and was working and looked just fine. Did some research on-line (especially from one great YouTuber) and found these adapters. Ordered a set and the installation went smoothly and have been working well for over a year.

Putting in a ceramic counter top which is considerably thicker than the old laminate one. These were easy to install and now have no issues. Can easily be removed if taps were to be used somewhere else

Works

Consists of extenders for the hot and cold water supply connectors to the taps (valves). These fitted inside my countertop drill out. There was a large brass washer that fitted against the underside of the countertop and a brass sleeve that slid over the connector to transfer force from the plastic nut that came with my taps to the washer. It worked and was easy enough to install. For me, the alternative would have been a new tap set with much longer supply pipes. A lot more costly.

Perfect extension to your faucet if using a thicker countertop!

These are perfect. I bought a butcher block counter and didn't even think about the tap stems being to short to go through the counter and being able to tighten to the underside of the counter. These simply screw on extending the faucet stems so that you can tighten the hardware to the counter. Even the hardware stores don't carry these.
