Love it, would buy again! (heads up! it tarnished a little)
As you can see in the picture, the lock part was gold but has rubbed off with use and turned to silver. I blurred my reflection on the doorknob for privacy reasons. Other than that, I really love the convenience of using the number-pad to lock and unlock my house. I would buy this again and I want to buy one for my parents house. It lights up at night so you can see the numbers and it comes with keys too just in case. I would maybe recommend getting silver from the start. But if you prefer gold, the lock part that turned silver is not something that’s super noticeable in my opinion. We’ve had this for about 4-6 months and I would recommend buying good name brand batteries so you don’t have to change the batteries too often. I tried the cheaper route of dollar tree batteries but I was changing them more frequently. I guess pick your battle. If it’s worth saving some money you can use cheaper batteries - the lock will still work. But if you prefer not having to change it often, I would spend a few extra dollars on good batteries. Thanks.

Use high quality batteries, don't expect any customer support
I purchased this model and a more expensive Honeywell model. This model looks better and feels like better quality than the Honeywell model. At first I used a brand new, but cheap store brand batteries. I nearly returned the product because I couldn't get it to work. (Note: I called the 1-800 number, emailed the company, and sent a message through Amazon - never got a response.) I decided to try a pack of Duracells and it works perfectly.

Really good lock
This is great! It has an option to self lock after 10 seconds which really like. If you don’t want that feature you don’t need to enable it. I also like how it has the option to light up the keypad, it is useful for when it’s dark. I do wish though that I could disable the sound every time I push a button. That is the only negative for me. Which is why I gave it 4 stars.

Perfect for locking off room
We need to protect my husbands office and equipment. This is super helpful. It also allows us to store valuables in office when we have guests or workers in the home. Perfect solution to keep kids and unwanted guests out of an area.

Works great. FYI I put in brand new batteries but it still kept beeping for low battery. I bought more batteries and replaced and it worked perfect.

Good quality product and excellent support
This lock is sturdy and works well, but it was quite a bit more difficult to install than I had hoped. I was replacing an existing door handle and it was a struggle to fit the new handle in to the existing hole. The hole in the door was slightly smaller than the new door handle and I had to ream it out a bit to fit the new one in. And the latch on the frame side is quite a bit bigger than my existing catch and I had to chisel out a bigger hole to fit the new on in. The biggest issue, however, is that the keys for the lock were not in the box! Fortunately, customer service is excellent and they responded very quickly to my concern and shipped out a new door knob with new keys. I had to replace the first set with the new set, which took a bit of finaggling to align, but I now have a door I can lock and open both with the keypad and with keys.

Looks good. Works very well.
This was NOT easy to install, for sure a two person job!!! The wires would not stay connected, we had to use electrical tape to keep them together and once we figured out this was why the door lock wasn’t working, it was a breeze from there. Great features and easy to use once we figured it out. The wire connector could be a lot better as it barely stays together. Taped it and it’s perfect now.

AVOID at all costs! Very cheap/poorly made - batteries exploded!
There is something very wrong with this door handle. Within moments of installation, the batteries started making sounds and one exploded. They were so hot to the touch they burned. It is not an issue with the batteries, went and bought a brand new set of another brand of batteries and the same thing happened. This is completely unsafe! I will be returning this poorly crafted item.

Completely faulty
This product does not work at all. The unlocking mechanism was faulty and only unlocked about 15% of the times you entered the code. Total garbage. Do not buy this.
