Very pretty but tends to get patchy
I bought this for the shade because I love the cool pink. This is really pretty and im happy with my purchase. This has a gel texture that I was unsure about but I place product in my head and then pick it up with a brush. That's the only way I can apple it with out it getting patchy on me.

Moist glow, color lasts
Updated review: I added an extra star because after wearing it for a while the color did stay on all day. I like more dimension in color and I’m use to a multi colored blush palate verses one solid shade. So, my results improved after trying it again using my new bronzing cream first, then this blush gel, followed by a touch of my pink powdered blush. So basically I had to tweak my application and the color a bit to get the results I like. Original review: The coral ember is a bit more tawny than expected, I tend to like brighter. . Hard to squeeze out of tube and if used daily will run out fast since tube is small. Spreads very well using a small amount. It is creamy and kinda translucent and does not look dry or cling to facial lines. Probably good for a ‘no make up look’, over a tan or someone who wants a natural looking hint of color. I mistakenly thought this was like the old school gel blush which had a stronger color tint and was a true gel with no creaminess. I tend to like more contrast and brighter cheek definition with my coloring. If this isn’t enough, I’ll use it on no makeup days so I don’t look too washed out. It does have a nice understated shimmer and feels weightless on my face.

Cheek Heat! Best blush I've found in a long time.
This product is easy to apply, looks natural, doesn't change colors during its use, and is easy to remove when it's time to take it off. Thank you, Maybelline, for this easy-to-use blusher. My only complaint would be that the tube is larger than the amount of product in it; the size of the tube vs. the amount of product in it is a little misleading. Overall I'm really pleased with the product and the transaction. I'll re-order this Heat Cheeks by Maybelline though, because the "pros" far outweigh the "con", for sure. Oh, and the rapid delivery was a really pleasant surprise too.

To Sheer
One minute it’s there the next it barely is no matter how much I pound on. It last all day sure but it mostly just chunks up on the sides. I like it but and definitely going to keep looking for something better.

If you’re over 40.. you need this
Ladies. If you’re over the age of 40, put down that powder blush. The extra layer on powder on top of your face powder does not but age us. Once you try this, on top of your foundation and then put your face powder on….. trust me. The difference is amazing.

Doesn’t work
This product is meant to be an affordable, light weight, cream blush but does not deliver on its promises. It’s an odd, foamy consistency that goes on sheer and patchy regardless of amount applied. The little colour present does not blend into the skin and the more you try the patchier it gets. I’ve tried applying it with my fingers, brushes and a sponge but nothing works! No colour pay off at all and it smears around the rest of the products on the cheek. I would give it zero stars if I could. Save your money

Great stain!!
I have been shopping around forever to try to find the perfect blush. I wanted something more of a stain that would give a natural blush. This is absolutely perfect. It's creamy and goes on beautifully. A color is very natural. I've read some of the reviews stating they couldn't see the color. I wear makeup daily and I have to say if they cannot see the color they wear a lot of makeup. I can see this color clearly. Great product and I have found my new blush.

Sheer blush
The media could not be loaded. I really like this pro, goes on smoothly, sheer look. However I was disappointed with the amount of product in the container. I have used it for a little over a week and it’s almost gone.

Sheer, patchy, blends into nothing
I've been looking for an affordable cream blush forever, so when I saw this come out I bought it immediately. I tried really hard to love it, but like many of the other reviews state its extremely sheer. I can't blend it with my fingers or a sponge without it disappearing, only a very dense foundation brush and even then it ends up very patchy and barely visible. The only time I can really see it is when I accidentally squeeze out a bunch of product, in which it gives me a slight flush but the amount of product to payoff is terrible. All in all, do not recommend. You're better off using a powder blush or another cream blush.
