Buy These Sheets!
These sheets are amazing!!! They are perfectly soft, yet crisp and very comfortable. They compare to sheets that cost more than $300 per set. I am so happy that I went ahead and bought them for all 6 beds in the house!!!! Buy them..you will love them

Cotton sheets
These are the best sheets I have ever purchased. You can tell the difference in the 100% cotton material compared to most sheets that are polyester. They are so soft and comfortable and the color is perfect. Definitely buy these!

Let's start with the positive: the color is beautiful. That's where it ends. These sheets are horrible. First, shame on me for ordering without noticing the 210 thread count. To be fair, thread count isn't everything when it comes to sheets. There is the quality of the cotton, the weave, processing etc. Out of the box, these felt soft and seemed to have a decent weight to them. I was hopeful. There was a smell that others mentioned, but it came out in the wash. After washing, they completely lost their softness and body. I'm sure due to the final finishing agents the factory puts on them. What I was left with were lightweight pieces of sandpaper, perfect for a full body exfoliation while sleeping. If you're into that sort of thing, then these sheets are for you. And as a design critique: there is not even anything special about the hem treatment on these. No embroidery, hemstitch. Nothing but a turn back hem with self piping. That after washing, looks very, very cheap. I am extremely disappointed in this product. I happily grabbed up the other new Martha items for my kitchen. Which are all durable, beautiful and the packaging is stamped "Martha's test kitchen approved" on them. I highly doubt that Martha slept on these sheets. If she did, she would have thrown them across the room and screamed: Why is my name on that??? Well, until she saw the check from the manufacturer. Bottom line, you can get better quality, softer, more durable sheets from Walmart or Target. Do not be lured by the color or marketing on Martha's textile products. Your sleep health is way too important.

These are nice sheets, soft enough, nice stitching, but feel thin compared to our others.
As you can see, we got the light gray color, and it turned out to be a nice, neutral color. The stitching on these sheets is also good, as you can see in my pics, but there were a lot of loose threads I had to pick off. I was especially grateful that the fitted sheet was as promised in depth, because we have a 3" memory foam topper on top of our mattress. The flat sheet wasn't quite as wide as our other flat sheets. Our sheets didn't have a bad smell, before or after washing. We have been using this sheet set for a month now, interchanging it with our other sheets. They've been washed and dried several times and held up well. Every night I slide into bed with these sheets, they feel just like our others (from a set that were almost the same price when bought as BOGO, or twice as expensive at regular price), they don't make me think about how soft and wonderful they are, but I also don't think they're itchy, rough, or uncomfortable in any way. The only thing I do think when both handling them to make the bed/fold them, etc, or when crawling into bed, is how they feel thinner compared to the other sheets we are using. The material/fabric used for these MS sheets doesn't feel as thick or durable. Based on my experience with sheets we had before our current ones I'm comparing these Martha Stewart ones to, these (MS ones) feel thin like our previous ones that literally wore thin in spots, even though they were really expensive. So while the stitching and seams are good, the color is good, the fitted sheet is deep as promised, there's 2 things that stop me from giving these 5 stars. One, is how the material itself feels thinner and like it could wear thin in spots faster. And two, these are a standard softness that I would expect for $65, but don't feel like the silky sateen that is in the description. Would I recommend these sheets and/or buy them again? Yes, I would, if I couldn't get the other brand we are currently using, during a BOGO sale.

A very nice quality sheet set from Martha.
This Martha Stewart brand of bed sheets certainly lives up to expectations. This is a well-designed 4-piece bedding set consisting of a fitted sheet, a flat sheet and two pillowcases, all made of 100% cotton. The maker describes the material as a sateen weave, which in my opinion, makes it very soft to the touch. Even the packaging is nice. The set comes in a reusable bag made of the same material as the sheets so you can sample the soft sheet texture before even opening the package. The fitted sheet is 16" deep which should accommodate the thickest of mattresses and toppers. An extra nice feature is that the fitted sheet corners are not only seam stitched but serged on the inside adding to the durability of the sheets. The top sheet is likewise nicely finished with good straight seams and no loose threads. As a result, you can tell this is quality bedding. The maker advises to machine wash in warm water. After we ran ours through the washer, the sheets retained their rich color and nice soft texture. Now I can't speak for everyone, but when making a bed I always have a little trouble determining which side of the fitted sheet goes up and which down. This is especially true with a king-sized bed. Fortunately, the makers have sewn in a little label which takes the guesswork out. The label identifies the side of the fitted sheet that can either go on the top or bottom. That's a nice feature to have. All in all, a very nice quality bedding set from Martha.
