Hard working pads feel so gentle
I wear one of those very thick, long wearing, no smudging mascaras. The only other mascara remover I've found that takes it off is the expensive brand that makes the mascara... and then I got this for my daughter who wears a light weight mascara. I had to try it on my mascara and it works great! It took off the mascara without a lot of rubbing which irritates my skin. It doesn't leave an oily residue. It feels gentle on the skin, light in texture and moisturizing. All this and it's much more affordable than what I've been buying. So glad I found this!

Gentle
I really like these! They are small and thin but they get the job done. I’ve always used Neutrogena brand, but can’t find them anymore. I’ve used other brands that was an irritation or was burning to my eyes. These have done neither. I believe these are a keeper.

Takes off waterproof mascara instantly.
I didn't think pads would work but my liquid makeup remover was discontinued, so I had to try them. I love them. I wear several coats of a heavy waterproof mascara, and these pads just melt it away.

Eye RUB-O-RAMA ....pass
TL;DR - I was looking for a product that wouldn't require so much rubbing in order to remove mascara (regular, not waterproof). This ain't it. These are a far cry away from being the 'gentle' eye makeup remover pads they're advertised as being. And there is no way that these would remove waterproof mascara! That's just plain laughable... For reference, my eye makeup consists of natural lashes and a ton (TON!) of regular, non-pro, black mascara gently layered onto them for a look that ends up looking like I'm wearing falsies. My previous makeup removal methods involved using either Neutr0g3na's makeup removing wipes, or that brand's liquid eye makeup remover which I used with a cotton ball. Both of these products require rubbing, but not nearly as much as these pads require me to use. RESULTS: I was able to get my mascara off, but it was a tedious and laborious process that left my eyes and skin irritated well into the next day. WHY THESE SUCK: 1 - When I opened the container, the pads themselves were barely moist at all. I took a pad and tried soaking my mascara with it, but it was way too dry and didn't do anything so I ended up having to run it under the faucet to get it wet enough to work at all. 2 - They require MEGA RUBBING to get things started. I placed one on top of my mascara laden lashes in an effort to soak the makeup off, but that didn't work either. I ended up having to press firmly, and RUB A DUB DUB. 3 - They're not soft! The pads themselves are pretty rough! Wouldn't be a big deal if you didn't need to rub to get them to work, but since you do, they're pretty aggressive on your skin. 4 - They're tiny. So, I knew this going in since I saw it mentioned by other reviewers. But I figured I could live with that if they actually work as well as they supposedly do. But since they don't, its yet another thing that inhibits with their potential (re: theoretical) performance. WHAT WOULD MAKE THEM BETTER: 1 - Moisture. I'd like to believe that maybe I just got a dud that was dry. Maybe they're actually properly moist when they arrive in the state they're intended to arrive and not dry. 2 - Softer pads. I'm starting to give up on the promise of a 'no rub' eye makeup remover. A softer pad would at least soften the blow from doing so. 3 - Less irritating makeup remover. My skin doesn't seem to care for whatever they use as the makeup remover in these. Its irritated, pink and slightly puffy. This could be compounded by the fact that I needed to rub. BOTTOM LINE - PASS: Not worth it. These are horrible. I gave them two stars since I guess they did technically work, but I definitely won't be buying them again. They're going into the dark recesses of my bathroom cabinet, where they'll be kept as backup. Won't be using these again unless I happen to run out of whatever other makeup remover I might be using at the time and no choice but to use these.

Only Eye Makeup Remover I Can Use
My eyes are really sensitive and I have a drawer in my bathroom filled with eye makeup removers I cannot use because they burn/ sting my eyes so badly. I've purchased luxury brand eye makeup removers and drug store brand eye makeup removers. You name it, I have it, and I can't use any of them because they burn my eyes. Even the ones everyone swears won't, that are supposed to be hypoallergenic, made for sensitive eyes, etc. I just don't tolerate any of them. I heard of this brand and decided on a whim to add it to my cart one day. I needed something to get me over the threshold to get free shipping. I didn't have high hopes. I totally expected a big, fat, fail. So imagine my utter shock when these pads did not burn or sting my eyes, did not irritate them whatsoever. I've been buying them ever since. And just this kind- the pads. Amazon actually has the best price for them too. It takes off mascara, eyeshadow, matte lipsticks that won't come off with anything else, and even strong eyebrow gels and creams. There is a slight, very slight, oiliness to it which doesn't irritate my eyes at all, I like it because I think it helps to moisturize the eye area a little, and if it bothers you, you can always take some water and just wipe it off. If they ever stop making these eye makeup remover pads I don't know what I'll use

Best makeup remover I’ve tried
Best makeup remover I have ever tried. Beats micellar water, any water based makeup remover, oil based remover, and cleansing balms. Pros - - Very gentle on eyelashes (Usually don’t lose any or only 1 when removed right! Place on lashes for 5 seconds then gently wipe) - REMOVES WATERPROOF MASCARA. I am not joking with this one, this has removed a waterproof mascara that is VERY waterproof - Good for sensitive eyes. I have ezcema on my eyelids and surprisingly, this doesn't irritate them! Cons - - Drys out sometimes (Close the lid properly! Some of the pads at the top dried out..) - Doesnt last too long. Already bought two in the past couple months. As someone who wears mascara daily, ive gone through one of these and now close to being done my second one. But for the price i say its not a big problem Overall trust me and buy this!!

THE Best Eye Makeup Remover for Waterproof Mascara
I have tried countless eye makeup remover products over the years - both drugstore and luxury brands - and none compare with the Marcelle Gentle Eye Makeup Remover Pads. I usually wear waterproof mascara to hold a curl and to prevent mascara from running during the cold Canadian winters. Getting this mascara off without damaging skin and eyelashes was difficult and very time-consuming until I found the Marcelle Pads. Press the Pads on the eyelashes for several seconds then gently wipe. Even CoverGirl Lashblast waterproof mascara that is next to impossible to get off can be easily wiped away. I have sensitive eyes and I have had no reaction to this product. Because of Amazon and I can buy this product for several dollars cheaper than I would usually pay at local stores.

These make up wipes are amazing for taking off magnetic eyeliner. I'm so happy that I purchased these, as I no longer need to rip my eyes off to the get the magnetic liner off now, it only takes a few gentle wipes to get the job done. I will definitely be purchasing them again.

Awesome—the best!!
Best makeup remover I have ever used. No burning, no stinging and I have VERY sensitive skin and eyes. Felt as if I had used pure water, it was so gentle. Leaves skin soooo smooth! Took off my 3 layers of waterproof mascara with one pad per eye. Only negative is the pads are teeny tiny! A bit bigger than a Canadian toonie. Wish they were bigger.
