So glad to replace plastic, that wears out, with metal plungers

Older windows with plastic plungers wearing out throughout the house, these are sturdy and easy to install.

Over 50% Don’t work!

I purchased these to replace the plastic latches on my window screens. They are easy to install, but oner half of the black plastic heads do not snap in place and easily pull off. Some do. Others don’t. They should ALL work. I don’t even know what to do with half of these! Basically, if you but these, compare to other offerings by doubling the price because a lot of these are useless.

OMG these are amazing!

The window screens are held in with screws, nails and good intentions. I decided to google how to fix them and found this part. I used the existing holes in the screen and slid them in place. 5 minutes per screen (if that!) and now the screens are easy to put in place and they stay put. I bought the 100 pack even though I only "needed" 3. Once I saw how easy they were, I'm replacing any of these around the house where the screen isn't staying in place. These saved my sanity with fixing my window screens.

They fail to work.

I had to return this item. Put of 10 that I tested, 8 wouldn't work properly. Like many have said before, the black pull tab doesn't stay afixed to the plunger. The reason I gave it 3 stars instead of one is because they offer free returns.

Works but i worry about the springs

The springs seem to made of steel that will rust with time. I've ordered pins from swisco.com that have springs more like a ball point pen. They are also cheaper.

Fixed my screens

We paid to have our screens get new pins last time. This time we bought these and easily put them in. Now our screen stay in as they were designed to do. Bought extra to have on hand as the other originals break and need to be replaced.

Money blown despite doing my due diligence - Read the one-star reviews!!

I first bought a 4 pack to test them and learn them. They worked perfectly, so I bought the 100 pack to do all of my windows. Like some people with a life, it took me a long time (past the return window) to get around to doing the whole house. It's the hot season so I pulled all the screens down and brought them to the garage. Just like other reviewers have said, the cap piece is too big and pulls right off. All 100 are useless! This company's QC is garbage. Go to reviews for this product on home store sites and it's the same story. If they send you the right parts, it works. Not worth the gamle!

Caps do not snap properly onto pin

The intent is for the plastic cap to snap onto the body and remain attached to the body. Unfortunately the hole in the cap is larger that the corresponding diameter on the pin. Ended up sending them back.
