I love that they're washable
I love the idea of a reusable pad. We've only used them for a week. It was hard for our pup to know it was for potty at first. The reason for 4 stars is because the design in these hide the poop. We've stepped in it, stuck our fingers in it, etc. The pattern just isn't the right one and/or the color of the pattern hides the dooky too well

Great Product
They work great on our tile floor. No leaking like with disposable pet pads. Easy to wash, but they come out smelling better with hot wash cycle with a scent additive, and dried on “sanitize” in our dryer. We have an elderly dog, and he uses them without any problem. I bought 6, just to have some backups.

Money Saving
For our tiny chihuahua going outside was not an option for every day housebreaking. I had used these in the past and decided once again to use them. I did order the large to get more bang for the buck but our chihuahua decided that using the same pad was a one a day thing so I needed a fresh one each morning. I had bought one pack that had 2 in it and a few days later ordered another 2 pack. Millie, our tiny chihuahua (2#'s at 6 months of age), immediately went to it and did her business as soon as we got her home. She can smell where she went before and goes back to that area. The pads are super absorbent, at least for Millie, and she doesn't get that urine smell on her feet so that isn't tracked all over the house. We have mostly carpet and keeping the smell confined to the pad was super important. I just pick up pooh as soon as she does it and there is no smell and the urine smell dissipates quickly so I don't have to deal with that either. She had been used to a crate and we have a pen that she stays in when we are gone with the pad at one end and her bed and food at the other. As we felt comfortable that she knew what to do we have condensed the pen to fit just on top of the pads. This holds the pad in place and Millie seems to know that when she is in the pen on the pad she needs to do something. The pen has been her marker and the pad is the bathroom. She loves the pad but likes to pull at its edges so the pen holds it down which is perfect for us since we have the large size pads. I love the fact I can just put it in the washer and then in the dryer. No more running out at the last minute and trying to find pads at a grocery store for twice the price. Really is helping with the cold wet weather we are experiencing at this time. There is no interruption in her training and I never run out of clean pads. I used to use the disposable pads and bought in bulk which I had to have a place to store them and if I break it down per pad over a period of time it is still more expensive than to have bought 4 for less the price of a bulk price of disposables and I won't have to buy again for over a year or more. Just makes more sense for my pocket book. Also, the disposable pads do allow for urine to be tracked all over unless you use the more expensive ones and over time you could have bought dozens of the washables for what you will pay for disposables. For me washables are the way to go and since I have 4 now so I wash 3 about 3 - 4 days. Millie is happy, I am happy and my budget is happy! I received them on time and no problems. I bought them from Amazon because I priced ones like this at PetsMart and would pay almost double for a 2 pack over what I paid through Amazon. Thanks Amazon for helping me with my budget in these trying economic times!!!!

the pee sits on top and doesn't asborb fast
I love that I do not have to take my doggies out. They were very easy to potty train on these. I have 6 of them and put two down at a time. With the black dots on there, it's very hard to spot poo especially when it's small like a tootsie roll. After 10 years of use, the urine does not absorb as fast as they used to when new. I only use a little bit of bleach and laundry detergent when I was them. I changed them out every other day.

Possibly potty trained my pup?
I purchased a pack after my husband read amazing reviews on it. My 3 month old German Rottweiler kept ripping up his pee pads and pieces would be all over the house. I rated this at its best because since I removed his old pee pads (purchased from pet store) and laid this one down in its place he has since become fully potty trained!! Suddenly and I swear it was overnight, the day we put up his old pee pads he started to come to our bedroom and wake me up to take him out. He comes to my side and gives a whine to let me know he needs to go. He has not used this mat and does not seem to like it. He will not go near it or sit on it. We found it odd that he completely ignores it. I had it out for a week just in case but he did not have any accidents in the house nor on the pad. I did not train him to wake me in order for him to use the potty he just did that the first night we got this pad. It’s been a month and still no accidents and he lets us know when he needs to go out throughout the day and night. These pads sit in the garage collecting dust, I’m not saying these potty trained my pup but the change definitely started something and I’m not mad at it lol. Side note - my puppy has never been in a crate. He always had his huge personal space in the laundry room that he has access to anytime and we let him have access to the dining room, kitchen, living room and our bedroom during the night. The rest of the house is always blocked off off with baby gates. His pee pads were kept out only at night in the laundry room. If my pup had used the pads I’m positive it would have worked. It feels like an absorbing material.

Electric slide potty time
I like another brand better because they have skid stopper knobbys on the back. These just slide everywhere, even if they are more leak proof. Frustrating.

Not leak proof
These are great training pads. Only major downfall and the main reason I purchased them was because they said leak proof. Well that is absolutely not the case at all. Gets worse after they are washed as well. They definitely hold up to a dog that digs.

Life saver!
I am so glad I came across this ! Was actually looking for the disposable ones but then these washable ones came up so thought I’d give it a go instead. Honestly best thing I’ve bought, no wet floor, no smell.. can’t complain ! My dog isn’t a puppy, he’s really old and his bladder is proving that! Very handy !

Great product
I live in a tiny ground floor flat with no garden. Puppy pads for my three tiny fluffy babas are a necessity. Especially for my oldest rescue who rather loves a wee on rugs. Have spent a fortune on rugs, carpets etc and over this Christmas went to the normal supplier of disposable pads but sadly no joy so decided I’m tired of paying £20-30 a month on disposable when I can buy these instead. They are better for the environment and also the waterproof backing allows no moisture anywhere near your carpets or rugs, unlike disposable that sometimes leak. Wish I had done this so much sooner. Bought dettol laundry cleanser and 6 of these pads to start off. Very happy so far, have washed and dried and no smell, no leakage when lifting to replace. They dry overnight and I recommend them for their efficiency/effectiveness and environmental qualities. Not to mention saves money every month.

Ideal solution for incontinent dogs
I purchased this pair of absorbency mats for my elderly dog as he tiddles a lot in the night. I have to wash them on a quick cycle every morning which is fine. What I am pleased about is when I pick up the mats to put in the machine they do not drip everywhere. I notice no smell from the soiled mats either. His bed and enclosure stays dry now through having the mats on the floor. I thought on purchase they were a little expensive but on reflection they are good value for money. I can see that they will last a long time. They fold up neatly as a sheet would and can be put away when not required. I am extremely pleased with this product and highly recommend it. 2021 still using them - for my cats now and are as good as ever

New design, poorer quality
I ordered a pack a bit over a year ago and was super satisfied, so I decided a couple months back to other another pack so I wouldn't have to put on a wash as often. Sadly, they have completely changed the product... I don't care about the change of design but the quality is way poorer! Instead of a fast absorption, the wee now "floats" on the pad for a couple minutes before being absorbed. It can make a mess and the odor has now time to develop, where the previous batch was excellent at retaining it. Still better than disposable pads in my opinion, but what a disappointment. I gave it a few weeks before writing a review as I thought it might improve after a few washes, but it did not.

Happy
As u all know puppy pad are expensive but these are great they last, my puppy due to illness has never quite mastered toilet training, these are amazing, wash really well (I used cheap disinfectant) they are still in like new condition after a few month of constant use one down n other wash every day! Saved a bomb thanks for this product
