One of them doesn't cut

One of the two scissors only cuts if you use the back, the tips don't cut. Not easy to open bottles either

Break Apart Shears

I’m glad I found these, they're great! One of them comes apart which is so cool. I went back and looked at the description and didn't see that part, but love it! We use those for cutting chicken and opening up food packages like bacon and then just take them apart, rinse them and throw in the dishwasher. We hand wash the other shear since it doesn't come apart, but it’s great, it has a bottle opener. They are both super sharp. Love em!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I love these scissors. I’ve used them every single day since receiving them. They cut through chicken bone just as easy as they cut through my veggies. They are very sturdy yet have a really comfortable grip. You can tell the blades are high quality and will last. You cannot beat the price for two shears, a built-in bottle opener and built-in seafood cracker. These are now my go-to kitchen tool!

Bad quality

Cheap material. Not very sharp. One pair got stuck after two times of usage, cutting paper. Couldn't move the scissors at all. Very bad quality.

Good Utility Shears; Excellent Value

This set of two kitchen/utility shears is well made with no observable defects in material or construction. The shears run smoothly. The red-handled pair is particularly comfortable in use because the inner portion of the handgrip feels slightly rubberized. The black-handled pair is made entirely of hard plastic and is less comfortable. Both pairs of shears performed flawlessly snipping a variety herbs, cutting open plastic vegetable bags, cutting lightweight cardboard and cutting the kind of plastic used in the dreaded blister-pack packaging. I also tried using them to trim some thin foam insoles. The black handled pair did the job with ease, but the red-handled pair compressed the foam without cutting it. I think the failure may be because the red shears’ blades can be disassembled for more thorough washing. Hence the blade tension might not be tight enough for a good cut into a material with a lot of give. Of course, I can’t judge how long the blades will hold a sharp edge. I did not try to cut any type of meat, poultry or fish with these shears. I am much more efficient using knives for those tasks. The product copy describes the red shears as having a seafood cracker. This portion of the device would have limited utility. It might be up to the job of cracking crab legs or the “knuckle” portions of lobster legs, but it is simply not big enough to tackle lobster claws. Despite their minor shortcomings, I know these shears will find a lot of use in my kitchen and around the house. At the list price at the time of this review, they are an excellent value.

One is nicer than the other

This set of 2 kitchen scissors is basic but they work fine. One of them is much nicer than the other one. It comes apart for cleaning, it has a comfortable silicone covered handle, and it cuts poultry well. Additionally, the scissors have a built in bottle opener and nut/crab leg cracker. I'd consider this the primary reason to get this set, it's fairly well made and seems like it will last a while. The other shears are almost the opposite. They work fine but the handles are smaller and made of hard plastic that's uncomfortable to use. The blades are shorter and it doesn't come apart for cleaning. It's a nice backup to the main shears or good when cooking with chicken and other ingredients, since you can reserve one pair for chicken and other raw meats that may have bacteria that you don't want to spread to other ingredients. Overall, it's a nice set for the price. I'm especially happy with the red handled shears. I'm not the biggest fan of the other pair but they do work so I'm giving this set 4 stars for being above average but not perfect. I've used more expensive kitchen shears that were comparable quality to this set.
