Great look

These are wonderful for giving your fave summer window box plants an encore inside.

These self-watering planters fit a decent-sized windowsill, have depth, are attractive and being selfwatering there is no risk of having a saucer under a pot overflow and get messy on a wood windowsill. The varieties of trailing geranium we grew over the summer on the railing of the front deck were especially beautiful. Transplanted into these planters, trimmed back, they are bursting with blooms again in a sunny window.

Missing important piece and substrate

One star because there is nothing less to rate it. It’s not the planter that is the problem. The planter works amazingly well when it has all the pieces. The reason it gets one star is that it was sent missing a piece. The planter does not work without this piece. Also missing the substrate for the planter which is supposed to be included with the planter. Unable to contact company to replace or refund the planter.

Pretty good.

This is a bit more of a premium plant pot. The length indicated in the description gives you a good idea of the size, they managed to measure it accurately. Once you set it up (it's easy) you can fit about 3-4 litres of compost. The instructions make it clear not to remove the polystyrene bit from the water stick because this allows it to float. I planted a coriander plant from a supermarket which passed away RIP but a mint plant seems to be thriving. I'll give another herb a chance, I think to gain good access to the water you need to fill it with a fair chunk of water. You can plant 2 to 3 herbs in it. Overall it looks nice and works fine. I think its worth the premium.

Really good

Lovely design and easy to plant up. I have used clay balls in it, not soil, and it works fine. The only thing is in other models there are recessed handles to lift out the planting tray. The one i bought doesnt have that so im not sure if im ever going to be able to clean out the water trough. I really like it though and my orchids that were in 3 seperate orchid pots are now much happier.

After receiving another water indicator from the manufacturer the problem was solved

I like the shape of the plant pot Easy to assemble The water level indicator unfortunately did not work as the red indicator stick kept falling right down into the bottom of the tube

Great for our orchids

Got these for my Mum and she loves them. She was able to plant multiple orchids in two of these pots. They look simple and elegant and self waters the plants so no complaints. Just need topping up every two months in the summer. Very pleased with them.

Instructions virtually unintelligible

Frankly, a big mistake buying this product. It is not obvious how to use and the instructions are rubbish. Amazon should bar this seller from its market
