Big fan of atomic wall clocks. VERY convenient.

I'm a big fan of atomic wall clocks. This is the second one I've purchased. (Different brands.) First one is in the kitchen and, if I get on my tippy toes, I can just reach it change the battery. I can't, however, hang it back up without a step stool. Not having to change it twice a year or adjust it is great! This one is going into the dining room as it's a bit dressier. Don't get wedded to the idea that you need to set this clock on the closest side of the house to WWVB though. In my house that'd be to the West, but on the West side of the house it can't get a good enough signal to set for the first time. The West side is heavily forested and there are high tension power lines a few blocks away, both disrupt a good signal. After it's set it's good to go, just try different locations in your home before you give up. It's also easier to set after the sun goes down as the signal is stronger at night with less interference from the Ionosphere. For grins and giggles I grabbed the other clock and this one and put them side by side. Both clocks synched down to the second. A good sign - grin!

Easy to read wall clock.

This is the second product I bought because the first clock wasn't readable from afar. Love this clock, just what I was looking for to replace the original one I had. Just the right size for kitchen wall, very easy to read from my tv chair, simple attractive design. Glad I bought this one as a replacement for the first one I bought. Couldn't read it due to transparent hands. I'm very satisfied with this new clock.

If you're sick at always looking up at the wrong time this is for you

I was so sick of no clock in the house ever having the right time This thing is perfect and I put the extra battery in always has the right time even with daylight savings time and an extra battery I should be good for 3 years so worth the money to not have to look at a clock with the wrong time again.

Auto Clock

La Crosse Technology has become my go to for time and temp. This 12" clock is good looking as well as easy to set up. It also has powerful reception so that I don't have to be so limited as to where to hang it.

Accurate

I purchased 2 of these analog atomic wall clocks 2 years ago. I set the time zones, and the 3 batteries in each. The clocks set themselves within 2 hours. I put them back in the boxes and gave them as Christmas gifts. The new owners put them on their walls and haven't touched them since. They love these clocks, so this year I ordered one for myself. I don't know if it was handled roughly in transport or just a bad clock. It took a couple of days to set itself, but then the hour and minute hands became loose and just flop around. I returned this clock and received a very prompt refund. Overall, I would say this clock is excellent as the first 2 are keeping perfect time so I will probably be buying another for myself in the near future.

Smart looking clock that always has the correct time

The clock has a nice sharp look on the kitchen wall. Silent movement, but still the good old fashioned clock with hands, least we forget how to read time on a clock that isn't digital. Syched right up to the atomic clock signal from Fort Collins CO. We're about 950 miles from the transmitter and typically we receive a signal every night. Better looking and seems to have decent quality that is better than others I had looked at. Simple setup - then you can pretty much forget about it.

Replacing two 20-yr old La Crosse clocks

Although a wee bit chunkier looking than the clocks they replace, they grow on you quickly. These with three batteries are great. No more annual replacement.

Looks nice, modern

Looks nice and modern, keeps great time, even on an interior wall. But - it ticks really loudly, too much for the bedroom wall. When its really quiet at night, its ALL I can hear. Had to return :-(

Simple, elegant, and stylish...

I was in the market for adding a wall clock to my home office setup, and landed on this La Crosse. What immediately appealed to me about this clock, asides from the La Crosse name, was its simple and elegant style. Sporting a black border, with a silver inner border, along with easy to read numbers... what more can one ask for? Setup is straightforward - just insert a AA battery and you're good to go for about a year. Or add two more AA batteries and you're good to go for a few years! Once powered up, you can either let the clock set itself via atomic time, or manually set it via buttons at the back. I initially set it manually, then the next day I noticed the time to be off - or rather, dead on accurate because it had set itself via atomic time overnight. Mind you the clock is in the basement, so for it to find an atomic time signal to set itself is quite impressive. Overall, I'm very pleased and satisfied with this La Crosse wall clock.

it works well except a minor defect

The clock works really well as it syncs time with the Station every night; however, I found a minor defect when it adjusted DST this morning. Instead of changing time at 2AM EST, it changed to summer time before 1:30AM. Lol...I have two atomic clocks from La Crosse and both had the same behavior. I guess its program has the wrong logic. Other than this, all good.

Great atomic clock that I feel looks good & is easy to read. Might purchase another!

This is a simple clock with clean looks. It may not appeal to everyone, but it suits the room in the house where I have it hung. Best part is I don't ever have to worry about setting this clock. Atomic clocks were meant for lazy people like me who take a month or two to set the time twice a year. I find the clock is large enough to read across the room without it being too large. The font is clear & crisp. I'm happy with it - hopefully the quality of this La Crosse clock is better than the quality of their weather stations.

Atomic Time

La Crosse Technology wall clock is an excellent product. I just put in the batteries, selected appropriate time zone and the clock set the correct time by itself. Very easy to operate and no need to change the time for Dalylight Saving Time. The clock will change the time automatically. The clock has sophisticated look. I am happy with this wall clock and recommend to anybody looking for accurate time. However, you would have to be in the zone where the time signal can be received.
