DO NOT USE LITHIUM AA

I got this clock and some lithium batteries because I was hoping with the atomic function, it would mean setting it up and not having to deal with it for like 5 years or something. BUT... LITHIUM ARE TOO POWERFUL for this clock. the hidden parts of the digits were partially showing and just looked horrible. I now have amazon basics high capacity rechargeable in the clock and it looks good. To make sure you are getting good time setting radio signal, you can tap the 'set' button to make the tower icon flash, showing it is looking for signal. If it is getting signal, you will see the lines on the sides flashing with the tower. If you do not see the lines flashing with the tower icon then you need to find a different spot that gets signal. I had to mount the clock about a foot and half above where I wanted it on the wall to find signal, but it works now. While looking for signal, move the clock slowly around to give it time to read if it is getting signal. Once you find a spot for the clock with time radio signal, it will take a couple minutes to set the time because the radio signal is a very low frequency binary sequence that takes about a minute to transmit, and then the clock has to reprogram its own time to match. It can take up to 5 minutes in general for radio time signal clocks to get time fixed. The clock has 3 screw hang holes so you can either use 2 to force it to be level, or just use the center one with 1 screw. Screws or other hanging hardware are not included. I used those simple ones you can find anywhere that come with those plastic wall anchor sleeves, but I never use the sleeves. I would have given it the full 5 stars, but can't use the lithium longer lasting batteries with it, and not really sure about temperature or humidity accuracy other than it is close enough. And, please folks, during this time of pandemic C-19 health issue, remember... Don't Lick Packages... or the delivery carrier...

Works awesome

I dinged them a star because they sent the wrong one at first. Correct box, wrong clock. It's one of those things you don't realize you need until you have it. You think "It's hot in here but the thermostat says it's 70". Look at the clock and see the humidity is high. Oh, that's why it feels hot. It's also nice to have an atomic clock to set all your other clocks to.

Sleek finish attractive in the living area

This accurately determines the temperature both outside and in our room. Extremely helpful for getting accurate time in reviewing the date. There was an earlier model that had weather predictions for three or four days. Unfortunately that is not made by any company. It is finished well and looks attractive in the home setting

A replacement

Our previous La Crosse Technology 513-1417H-AL-INT Atomic Clock with Temperature & Humidity had finally stopped working after a few years. Luckily, I was able to find its replacement on Amazon. It works as it should. The only reason ours stopped working is that it sits on our lanai and the temperatures and humidity at times are extreme. It is easy to read as long as it is not in direct sunlight.

Very poor time signal reception.

It was easy to set up. We could not get it to sync to the atomic time when hanging on bathroom wall for five days. Temporarily moved it to the living room window and still wouldn't sync after two days. We live in northern IL. All segments appear on when sitting down and looking up at it.
