Kryptek is great

I love the look of Kryptek. Have been in a few long and steady down pours with this and kept me dry. The vents under the arms help at times but would be nice if they had some mesh so it was not just a open hole when unzipped (more a preference for looks, does not impact function). One thing that has been a little annoying is that the Velcro on the left side periodically sticks to the mesh liner. As long as it does not keep sticking to the same place it will probably last.

Works great.

Definitely keeps the rain off. Used it for the 1st time in a downpour and it worked like a charm. It also kept me warm in mid 60 degree temperatures all day. Well worth it.

Runs a bit big, but that’s fine

Ordered this to wear for expected heavy rains and wins on a camping trip this past weekend. It was warmer than expected and faired well with holding out the water. Like and rain gear, you should always waterproof… but I wanted an accurate idea on this first. 7 hrs into constant rain and I finally started feeling the dampness a bit. I’m not talking drizzle, it was big ole fat rain drops and the shower wasn’t turning off. That’s pretty impressive for a $64 non treated jacket. I definitely would recommend this.

The future is great.

Can't comment on water proofing. But the fit is great. The hood is deep but the tail of the jacket could be longer. Sleeves are snug around the wrist with a thin under layer. The interior is a rubberized material and the seams appear to be quality and are water proofed (don't know how well though)... overall it feels good, fits well and is fairly quiet. The swish and crumpling sounds are not as loud as others but this is not a "quiet" jacket.

Great wet weather gear. Definitely keeps you dry in the worst weather. Great over a Kylos 2 coat. Would buy again..
