Big but surprisingly well made

So I had to eat my own words on this one. The corset fabric is beautiful but the bend was so soft I was CERTAIN that it only had a steel busk and plastic bones. But I loved the fabric so much I decided to order down a couple sizes and just replace the plastic... well I was in for some humble pie trying to do so. The stitching was crazy secure the channels were made of that slightly sticky foam stuff like some clothing hangers had so those bones were going NOWHERE as far as sliding and top it off the are coiled steel which I'd never worn. It's got way softer of a bend to it than traditional steel. So if you are looking for something to keep you straightened up and super stiff-- move on from this. But if you want something that holds but can bend enough to wear as a daily item or for long periods this was a game changer. I can't do plastic bc I have an pretty hefty drop in size at my waist and plastic will crimp on me... but this handled like a dream. I Couldn't tell that in the big size but once I was on a fitting size it's noticeable. The ONLY draw back is there is no modesty panel so I had to still order a little big and can't lace down as tight as I'd like bc of the outfit I got this to go with I need it to close across the back. Final edit: also attempted the large since the xl fit but I couldn't tighten down any further... the jump in size though meant a large may have fit my leg. Last pic is the xl with blue showing and L with the inside black showing. It's a big dif between sizes.
