Great swing for price
This works like a charm for our 9 week old baby, nice swing speeds and the music is actually very cute. Not sure how long the batteries last but we bought lots of C batteries so we can just change them when time comes. One thing to note is the angle of the chair is a little awkward for a newborn. We find his head falls a little and it goes to the side.. but we’re just so relieved it makes him stop crying and stay asleep we overlook it.

Battery Issue
Got this to try since my 2.5 month old baby didn’t like the mamaroo we got. He likes it better and will hang out in it for quite a while on or off. There are three reclining positions. I found that the further back he laid, the more it looked like the swing was going to tip backwards. The little flap that covers the snap is also really annoying to me. You have to flip it up and it goes right into baby’s face when you clip and unclip. My biggest issue by far though is that the directions say D batteries but it actually takes C batteries. It wasn’t hard to put together but wanted to make sure it was safely assembled. I was pretty annoyed.

Compact, light, and cute lullabies
I got this swing to have in our bedroom and to bring on camping excursions. Ours is very quite when swinging and it doesn’t take up too much space in our small shared bedroom. I wouldn’t use this as my main swing since it’s a little flimsy and the rocking motion isn’t the smoothest. She has only actually fallen asleep in it once compared to my main fishcer price swing she easily falls asleep in. Nonetheless would still buy again.

GREAT Value and meets all needs
Just a little backstory. We purchased a $200. Seat right off the bat thinking surely this seat would hit all of our requirements. Well guess what? The expansive seat has not even been used for various reasons so we decided to buy THIS one for literally a fraction of the cost and it has hit ALL of our requirements. Btw everyone please use some common sense when placing your newborn into the seat i.e. use a rolled up receiving blanket to support the babies head and tilt the seatback in order to make the baby more comfortable as well as use some ingenuity concerning the placement of the baby. Our baby is 1 month old and he CANNOT stay awake in this seat. Sure weve customized his seat while so small but shoot, for the money and what the seat offers, I'm kicking myself for NOT buying this seat FIRST.

Nice swing but not suitable for younger/smaller babies
Good quality swing which my son loves now that he's a little bit older (4 months). The toys are just within hitting distance and keep him distracted for a little while. The music is okay, if a bit repetitive with two volume settings. However I would not say it is suitable for tiny little newborns. No matter how we sat him in it when he's was under 10 weeks he looked all curled up. (chin on chest) so I wasn't comfortable leaving him in it in case he couldn't breathe properly. Although it is a nice swing, I would not recommend it because of the seating position for little ones. It's only good now that he's older, but his feet are hanging over the end. He won't be in it much longer meaning it has only been used for a very short time.

Not recommended for newborns
I was told by midwives and health visitor this is not suitable for a newborn to sit in as the position means their chin is tucked down. Not suitable until baby is able to hold head up alone. My baby doesn’t settle in this, but will occasionally sit in it for about ten minutes whilst watching tv. Wish I went for something that bounced/vibrated instead

Perfect! Highly recommened
I ordered this for my 7 week old baby, as it was compact but recline etc. It's perfect! Just what I needed for her! It has quite a few swing speeds, the lowest is nice and gentle. The music is lovely and soothing, with two volume settings. The colours are lovely! Chair also has a timer for the music and swing settings so will turn off at the required time. This chair also comes with a baby head support for young babies. It has a 5 point harness a for extra safety (I love this a as most chairs only have the straps a that go around the waist) and a cover to cover the bottom of release for the harness. Seat reclines easily, and is conpact for storage! My dauhter loves it! Highly recommended! Fast delivery. Easy to put together! You will need 4x Size C batteries for this chair.

loose and wabbly
The media could not be loaded. very easy to asemble but it is loose , especially where it holds the swing it wabbles side to side , looks as if its gonna fall out , i have no idea wether this swing has been screwed in badly or it is like that , seems unsafe to put a baby in especially a heavier one . The discription mentioned that need 4 batteries and are includwd but it is not . i will need to check all the screws if it will tighten the swing , but i am very dissapointed in the quality , the box came unsealed like its been opened before , its like i just got the swing second hand .... i will most likely return this item..

Baby Loves it
First of all we nearly had a heart attack as at the bottom of the email from Amazon, it stated that it was being delivered by HERMES, in the past they were not able to find our address, put a card and the item a pair of Jeans supposedly through our letterbox. Thankfully it was delivered, as it wasn't a hermes driver, he came from another part of the city found us no bother and had received ten other complaints on this run about the Hermes driver. THE ITEM When we got our grandson he was warm and kranky, changed him fed him and placed him in swing, he was asleep in two seconds. Further shots on the swing,he was quite happy swinging away and he likes the tunes, they even managed to put Granny to sleep.Our grandson is 12 weeks old and 11lb 4oz at last weighing, he is due again in a few days. There are only minor complaints about this item, it will not stay in the sitting position, it just falls flat. He wasn't interested in the animal bar so we just removed it, he's maybe too young for that yet. If you want to stop it swinging when he falls asleep use the timer, as the control makes a loud clicking noise when you turn it off. We just had it set at the second swing speed and that was fine. An excellent product it made our weekend babysitting a lot easier and well worth the money sturdy and well made, fairly easy to put up as well. Delivery was excellent as it wasn't HERMES.
