One Year Later: A Disapointment

I bought this watch roughly one year ago this week as a birthday gift for my wife. She loved it! It has a classy look and goes well with much of her wardrobe. The original battery is still going...all good selling point. However, out of the blue a few days ago, she remarked to me that the inside of the watch was developing "dust" beneath the crystal. The "dust" appears to be gold flakes from inside the watch. My wife has not been anywhere "dusty" and the watch is not worn on a daily basis. I am writing to the seller to find out more about the limited lifetime warranty. Expect to hear more from me on this as the situation develops. An update: I spent quite a bit of time in chat with Amazon Customer Service. I can state without equivocation that their level of concern drops to slightly above ZERO once the window of return has closed...never mind that I placed 44 orders with them last year and 33 so far this year. They did get me the manufacturer's contact info and I did hear back from them already. You know that "Limited Lifetime Warranty?" It is limited to the mechanism only...nothing else. They are happy to repair it but they can't tell me what that will cost until they've received it and $9.95 return shipping. So back to the issue at hand: gold colored dust on the inside of the crystal. Where would small particles of gold colored dust come from within the watch case? What would cause the particles to be small and not larger flakes? The only thing moving within the case that could produce "dust" would be the mechanism which is guaranteed for life...only it's not. My recommendation: Don't buy this watch...unless you do it with both eyes open and recognize that you might get one that either fogs (as per other reviews) or dusts internally. Seriously, for $10 or so more, you can score a Skagen and have something of real quality.

I'm really happy I went ahead and ordered this watch recently. For one, it looks very high-end, complete with the added bonus of having the name (Peugeot) imprinted on it. Very Classy! And for the price you pay you can't beat it. In reality though, the color is more like a rich emerald green (not a dark green) and the face a muted gold, very understated, and stylish. It doesn't show in the original picture, but the band is croco embossed, it's not a smooth finish. Which only adds another dimension, it's not plain. Nice touch! This does not look like a cheap imitation it looks way more expensive than it actually is. Words cannot tell you how overjoyed I am with this purchase!

Beautiful watch. Perfect style. Bad seal.

Love everything about this watch, including the comfortable leather strap that seemed padded to protect from sweat wear. But as soon as I went outside in 100-degree weather with 98% humidity - not raining - the watch fogged up completely. This watch is "water-resistant" so I should be able to wash my hands and not have this happen. The seal in not proper to allow humidity to fog the inside of the crystal. I had to return the watch. I will find another one and re-purchase, as I love this watch. Low humidity locations may not have problems, but once you wash your hands with this on, expect this.

Classy Tank Watch

Well, fiert of all, the watch is brown leather, not black leather, which is just fine, because that's what I wanted to begin with. I'd been looking for a nice, affordable tank watch(some of us just don't have thousands of dollars lying around to blow on Cartier,but still like the style.) It can be a tough to read the dashes representing numerals when I first wake up, but I've gradually grown accustomed to them, so it's not so bad now. It's a sleek, elegant watch that will dress up everything in your wardrobe without drawing undue attention to it. I like it very much, and am considering getting one for my sister in law as a gift.

A Lovely Timepiece

It's been 3+ months since I purchased this little gem and finally wore it three days ago. It's very comfortable and quite attractive on the wrist, easy to read the time and the case looks like 14K gold. Band is beautifully croco-embossed. Not sure why some reviewers state it's short. I have medium sized wrists and my band is quite substantial in length. Truly a wonderful value. And FREE battery replacement for life? I'm in! I'm fact, I'm ordering the brown as soon as I submit this review.

The warranty is "NOT" worth the paper it is written on.

The warranty is "NOT" worth the paper it is written on. The watch failed and was sent in for warranty. It cost $13.00 shipping to send it in. They charged my VISA $19.00 for return shipping. The watch was returned "NOT" functioning! I contacted customer support to discuss that I was not willing to pay another $32.00 shipping for a second repair. Customer support did not reply. Regarding the free batteries for life. $32.00 shipping is a far more than the battery change is worth.

not fabulous

The watch looks nice enough but the face of the watch makes it difficult to see the time. Although the description said that it was waterproof to a few feet - this is not true - when I wash my hands the watch clouds up - I already see dust inside the watch as well and I only bought it on Prime Day Not worth the money - you can do much better for a few dollars more.

Bonito y elegante, pero . . .

Este pequeño reloj es muy elegante, tiene personalidad gracias a su cristal curvo que amplifica la visión interna. La marca impresa en dorado no es legible ni el texto inferior, deberían hacerlo más pequeño y delgado para que se pueda leer. Su correa de piel es suave y cómoda, sin problemas en su maquinaria que funciona bien a secas. Esperemos que sea un reloj duradero. Saludos cordiales.
